If my memory still serves me well, there are a few individuals who are qualified enough to certify your photocopied documents, one of which would be your alma mater's principal, Justice of Peace, Commissioners for Oath etc. These are the few common people whom you can find easily.

If i bring my original certs and copies but havent certified,can i do certification at TARC college?

yeah it's okay if you apply way earlier before you enter uni. will not affect your PTPTN application anyhow.

Yes, on the day of the application, there will be DSA officers standing by. Find them for certification.

As for the old ones, i'm not sure. Best is using the latest submission.

U can go Maybank to ask whether they are the PTPTN agent or not

There's another form that you can use, the manual form(which says your father salary is RMxxxx and certified by Kumpulan A officers, Ketua Kampung and the relevant group of people).

That form should be sufficient, as I too used that to apply.

Is there any deadline for applying ptptn in tarc? Cuz im from Kuantan Pahang, and now im renting a room at setapak and study at KL TARC so it takes time for me to get the necessary documents and get the "manual" form signed by those authorities...Please people guide me,i need to get this ptptn else i cant manage my fees...wondering if someone here can guide me....

There's always a date assigned where the PTPTN officers will go to the respective school campuses for further. You'll find out from the TARC announcement page.

Even my parents' surat beranak and IC oso need to be certified? By who ? Im in KL alone and my parents in pahang lea. HOw?

There are a few individuals whom you can look for to certify true copies: TAR DSA officers (on the day of the PTPTN application day), Commissioner for Oath (Pensuruhjaya Sumpah), Justice of Peace.

Why not try to send your stuff back to your parents and ask them to do it for you, then courier it back?

If you wanna do it yourself, you go to Wisma Rampai and go to the Commissioner for Oath's office. Easier that way.

KL TARC is the main campus right? the one beside UTAR setapak campus right? I scared i might mix up, haha.

Im afraid the deadline of the ptptn application will be very very very soon,is it that soon? Or i still have time to courier it back to my parents and ask them to setttle it for me ? Can anyone give me example of how soon is the ptptn deadline ? Im entering May 2008 intake at TARC ,new student KL setapak main campuse.

The best thing you can do now is to check with TARC when the PTPTN officers will be going to your College to certify documents and collect all the applications from the students. Like some of the forumers have already said, PTPTN has different schedules for each College. Don't worry, it won't as soon as you enter College. It would be at least after 2 or 3 months. Just check the schedule with your College.

The officers will collect all applications from TARC, so it doesn't require you to send it to them personally. They usually will set up "Hari Bersama PTPTN", so no worry about that. Just frequently check out your college's bulletin board for the announcement.

Now, you just need to prepare with all the documentations that you can prepare beforehand, for example, SPM results, photocopy of IC; and remember to certify them. The best person to certify all these documents is your principal or senior assistants from your former secondary school, that if you were from a Government bodied school. All my documents were certified by them except for a form (will be attached with the application form) that to declare my parents are working on own, thus no pay slip and etc. This was signed by a Jaksa Pendamai (JP), who happens to be my dad's friend.

For the PTPTN loan there is two methods to pay back. One is kadar progresif and the other kadar purata. What is the difference and which would be recommended?

Is PTPTN loan available for everyone? If someone was qualified academically, will they reject you for any reasons?
