1. If my mother passed away, I leave all the details of penjamin 2 empty right?

2. About the SSPN account, in the form it has pendeposit, penerima manfaat and penama. Who is the pendeposit and penama?

1. ya but i think you have to provide document to prove it.

2. if you open the account under your name, then, it'll be your name for pendeposit and penerima manfaat and your parent's name for penama. otherwise, it'll be your parent's name for pendeposit and penama.

As long as the penerima of PTPTN (of which your mom is the guarantor) has not defaulted in payment etc, then it should be ok.

IINM, it's about 2 months after submitting your application with the PTPTN officer in your College/Uni. You can check regularly at the PTPTN website.

According to their website, MBB is included. However, they could have just added it in recently.

you have to apply through your college. every college has its own application period. you can only apply within the period itself, not anytime.

i myself have to bear the fees of the 1st semester while waiting for my college to start accepting application. doh.gif

On every beginning of the semester, one is allowed to apply for PTPTN loan, and take note that you can only apply until your final year in the institution. For instance, if you're studying for 4 years, the latest you can apply for PTPTN is only up till Year 3. Year 4 cannot apply already.

Funny. Normally upon the beginning of the semester, even it's semester 1, we're allowed to apply for PTPTN loan. In-fact, it's supposed to be like this, then the money will be approved and will be banked-in on the second semester. May i know which institution will you be studying?

Certified true copies of:
1. Student's identity card (IC) (front and back of IC on the same page)
2. Offer of Admissions letter to student
3. SPM Certificate
4. STPM/Diploma/ Matriculation or equivalent ( Result Transcript )
5. Account Passbook
6. Parent/Guardian's latest proof of income (income tax document/Pay Slip/"Borang Pengesahan Pendapatan")
7. Parent's identity card (IC) (front and back of IC on the same page)
8. SSPN Deposit Slip to indicate that you have opened the accounts
9. Death Certificate for those deceased parent(s)

Not sure if i've missed out anything. But these is roughly what is needed. You could check with your institutions.
