when i was reading this post, there is a lot of suggestion for SSD in the build. i am not that power in computers so can anybody explain why there is a need for SSD when there is already a HDD included in the build?
*
SSD is a lot faster, people use it as primary storage for OS, favorite program/games/apps etc. Everything load faster than HDD.

21" is the physical size, you need to check the resolution of the monitor

but if its the HD7870, it should be able to run Skyrim at High settings

why would you need the SSD though? hmm.gif

imo, some online games can be quite graphical+CPU intensive

If you can live with low graphic detail, yes. If you use many program, 60GB SSD is not enough. Better save some more and pick 120GB SSD. Else just stick to this build.

hye guys. can you guys recommend a rig with RM 2000 budget.
mostly would be for surfing, work and occasional gaming.
(Games played such as MW3, Skyrim, Dota2 etc.)

The budget don't need to include chasis, monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard.

Most 500W 80+ bronze PSU will be able to support the specs.
If it is CM 500W GX series will recommend u to replace with a better one since it has some bad issues ago.
Example: Enermax NAXN82+ 550W RM215 or Seasonic S-series 620W RM299
The other price you can find is similar as suggested by Cable707, perhaps about ±(5~10%).
For WD Blue 1TB price should be around RM200, but price differ from time to time maybe my price list is outdated. So correct me if I'm wrong.

Never looked at the psu model. If I cant use that psu, i need to find decent psu. And for the hdd, what is the main difference between blue, black and green? Quality? Price?

Performance
Black > Blue > Green

Energy Saving
Green > Blue > Black

Price
Blue and Green are just similar at 500gb & 1TB, Black will be expensive. However as the size goes up, Green is cheaper.
