Hey guys. I need your suggestions to help the making of my new rig. Budget is RM2500 without monitor and psu as I have Samsung monitor and 500w psu. Is that 500w enough? O.o targetting i5 as procs and Nvidia graphic card. Thanks!

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jan 31 2013, 08:43 PM) Kindly state the brand and name of the psu that you are going to re-use For RM2500 Rig, You get roughly like this: Intel i5 3470 RM564 MSI B75MA-P45 RM229 Kingston 8gb ram RM142 WD Blue 500gb RM169 Leadtek GTX670 RM1149 LG DVD-RW 24X RM59 An Casing that you like RM200 Total RM2512 CoolerMaster 500w. Is that enough. Btw, what is the price for Corsair 500w and above? And thinking to get a 1TB HDD and 120gb SSD. The cost surely up a lil bit eh This post has been edited by em3an: Feb 5 2013, 09:56 AM

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Feb 5 2013, 09:37 PM) Most 500W 80+ bronze PSU will be able to support the specs. If it is CM 500W GX series will recommend u to replace with a better one since it has some bad issues ago. Example: Enermax NAXN82+ 550W RM215 or Seasonic S-series 620W RM299 The other price you can find is similar as suggested by Cable707, perhaps about ±(5~10%). For WD Blue 1TB price should be around RM200, but price differ from time to time maybe my price list is outdated. So correct me if I'm wrong. Never looked at the psu model. If I cant use that psu, i need to find decent psu. And for the hdd, what is the main difference between blue, black and green? Quality? Price?

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Feb 6 2013, 03:47 AM) PerformanceBlack > Blue > Green Energy SavingGreen > Blue > Black PriceBlue and Green are just similar at 500gb & 1TB, Black will be expensive. However as the size goes up, Green is cheaper. Looks like Blue is the normal on all aspects. Take Blue then xD
