mainly for light gaming and downloading
no oc involve

need suggestion on rig...

cpu : intel at least 4 core...
gpu: nvidia
mb: need have many sata port...
psu: enough for gpu and 6 or more hdd..
going to on 24 hour whole year..
purpose: gaming and downloading...
casing: enough space for whole thing and cold enough....
budget: 1-1.2k

a friend needs help for a 2k rig... light gaming and surfing

needs a complete set from monitor to cpu to gc etc... thanks in advance

- as the i5 cannot be oc, i've read that the mobo of z77 is quite useless right?
- budget wise: not too far from the above.
- i'm also offered a AMD setup of FX6100, MSI970A, rest the same. which is better? as i noe, intel is more power saving

I'm looking for a gaming rig. I'm only in need of the processor, the motherboard and a graphic card. My budget would be RM1.5k for these three. I've read through the thread briefly. Here's what been recommended.

Sapphire HD 6870 1GB

Any further recommendation? Currently I have a Silverstone Strider 500W power supply.
