QUOTE(fe3doe @ Apr 12 2013, 08:47 AM) Yes, the more the merrier. The faster your attack, the more damage + more life you can recover. Just some heads up on zdog build. In terms of burst damage, zdog is better than zbears. Based on my experience, zdog is not as effective because of the limitation in pushing up DPS. You will hit a ceiling. It is very very very very very very difficult to push up the DPS for zdog build. Few reasons, there are at least 3 gears are bound to zdog build (in order to have ZERO second cool down zdog). It means less flexibility in upgrading your gears for more DPS. Secondly, these MUST-have gears are rather low DPS gears. You just can't do much about it. Thirdly, it is damn rare to get better replacement. It's either you can't find any gears better than your existing ones or you need to pay few billions for a piece of gear. It is very difficult to push zdog build more than 135K DPS. It's an expensive build. However, zbears can easily push more than 150K+ DPS, at half or 75% of the zdog cost. Refer to my MP10 Ghom test, 95K DPS zdog VS 130K DPS zbear, zdog win. 128K DPS zdog VS 150K DPS zbear, it's a tie. My zdog build stuck VS 180K+ DPS zbear, zbear win by at least 20% My zdog build stuck VS 200K+ DPS zbear, zbear win hands down. (Note: Both builds use SoJ) |

actually the Zombie bear build has some variation to get mana too
1) corpse spider widow maker+VQ for mana 2) spirit skills + RoE for mana 3) low cd ZD with sacrifice for mana skills (thus no nid to take homunculus for 0cd) 4) Grave Injustice for low mp~ not sure which variation is most efficient though... |

With Grave Injustice Passive i was able to spam all skills that proc RoE which make my mana pool rarely dip below 25% .. not forgetting Spirit Barrage has high %wpn dmg multiplier (almost same as bear for single target) compared to widowmaker %wpn dmg. fe3doe wait for itemization patch to go 0zdog .. ilvl63 Homunculus This post has been edited by Gecko: Apr 12 2013, 11:43 AM |

QUOTE(2890 @ Apr 13 2013, 12:10 AM) i'm not quite sure on the exact amount of health the globes heal but i think they heal a percentage of your hp pool and afaik there's 2 types of health globes, the small & big ones .. my guess is the small globes heal 15% while big ones heal 30%I'm also not sure how bonus to health globe adds up to base heal .. 30% + amount of bonus? hv to do some testing to be sure. |

Long time never post here. Now at Paragon 72 187k dps (can go 200 without Zuni Pox)
Zuni helm with cc: check Uhkapian Serpent: check High dps Manajuma Carver: Still otw Zuni boots & Zuni chest: check (not BiS but good enough) Zuni Pox with cc: Otw Also need to upgrade Gloves to trifecta, Amulet to Trifecta. I guess that's pretty much it for WD. Maybe I drop Hellfire so I can play longer before hitting p100 heh |

It'd be ironic if suddenly they say 'We feel that 0 zombie dog build is not working as intended, we will have it fixed in the coming patch ' BOOYAAA.. ragequite, forum rage and people crying for paying overpriced item just for the zombie dog build.

I have been talking to a few WD before I started leveling my WD. Pretty aware of the mana problem so a few suggested/talk to me about how to tackle it. Did some reading/digging as well and found some pretty solid information/specs that would give you close to infinite bear spam.
Active Skills: Widowmakers Zombie Bears Spirit Walk: HG SZD: Final Gift Sac: Pride Last Active Skill BBV: BM OR GotD: Death is Life OR Mass Conf: Devolution Passive: GI, CoL, GF I can't find the link where I read it so i'm writing from memory. Anyway IIRC, this build requires IAS. I think it was something in the 1.8-1.9 region. PUR gears are mandatory as well. Basically is pretty identical to CM wiz where you use GI to reset your cooldowns. CoL and the last active skill are used as mana battery. It was something like kill a dog and you get mana while you melt enemies your dog cool down reduces. But as usual, the downside is not effective against single targets. I'll do more digging. If this works, I might roll a WD as well since gears are identical to CM wiz. |
