Good that you enjoy the ride.. Where did you ride yesterday? 40km good distance too. I think soon you will overtake me with odo.-miles done.
Must ride more myself.

i still keep in contact with them.. however, logistic problems prevents me from getting it... i like the australia made ones as they are using sapim spokes while US uses DT spokes...

i also still keeps in touch with bikehubstore and they also told me they have gotten in new 23mm wide rims which weighs considerably light... around 480 grams that builds a 1600 grammish wheels depending on what build kit you select...

http://www.bikehubstore.com/category-s/162.htm

my wheel from them is still in running condition with only one broken spoke so far... so, high chances is that i might get it back from them with a wider rim this time and their hubs although unproven to be reliable is quite light and the price is usually quite affordable... a whole set of wheels and some spare parts comes in under the price of a set of Racing 3s...

strava provided the base for him to indulge in his stupidity in the first place... if they didn't create a KOM event out of the app... it might not have happened... and ironically, he did not die going uphill.. he died going down which is dumb for a KOM competition to take into account downhills... doesn't make sense...

yes, it is not the apps fault... it's the creators fault for having stupid rules for stupid people to exploit... don't endorse the damn thing and let it die...

I use strava for statistical purposes only. Heck you can be KOM on any segments just by riding a motorcycle, nobody knows. I know because I accidentally have KOM before as I forgot to turn it off after my ride.

It's good with not too much details on your workout analysis, I've yet to use the Premium features but am planning to do so soon.

DANG! that makes you smart then rclxms.gif

pen and paper never killed anyone... and if you get mugged, you can stab the mugger with your pencil, and if you are bored... you can make paper aeroplanes out of the paper and fly them all over the place...

greatest invention in history and you guys want to stick to some 2-bit screen that can't even display pamela anderson's knockers as the wallpaper correctly...

i wonder what is with all this data logging nowadays... does it even make sense having this sort of data?

i think it's overkill and we are carrying around personal cancer generators even when we are out riding..

i prefer the A23 helios from the australian site... uses 24/28 spokes and fully built up by them... of course, they mentioned that if i don't want to run sapim cx-ray to cut down the price of the wheel.. they can pair it with different spokes, or hub if i like to and still maintain the same A23 rim...

IMO all the data matters especially if you serious in improving on your fitness. Without the data it's hard to quantify your improvement. That's is all to it.

Just don't forget the joy of riding. We are not a serious athlete after all and not riding for living..

Well to each his own smile.gif
