Did a bit of digging, I think Zipp is value for money especially with our local market
without a doubt.. until a day where all the pundits start buying other wheels.. i don't see zipp facing any stiff competitions...

furthermore, they are being backed by 2 rather big distributors here in KL.. GH and Ngee Cycle..gives a bit of calmness to your nerves in case either one goes out of business...

I use 25c at the rear and 23c at the front. Plenty of choices for 25c here. Anyway butthead if it's hard to find in Malaysian market there's always an online option smile.gif

Btw, I think imcyclist sells Colnago brands in Msia right. How much is the price range? Do they sell frames or only a complete bike? And what is the difference between C59 and M10 S?

I think my competitiveness level in this cycling sports has went down a notch. Retired early from all the hypes and marketing bs. I want to cycle slowly and for fitness, enjoying the scenery, no more trying to move up my ranking on Strava leaderboards.

By doing that I can enjoy cycling more. Going to shop, starbucks, checking out chicks..wearing short khakis, no bib. Radar to be replaced with aviator and the likes. but first I have to change the bike..not the mainstream spez..I want some fine Italian stallion. Will Colnagos fit the bills? Pinarello? Willier?

*no joke.

I don't know much about Colnagos..I just browsed through the net and found the common models. The one you posted above looks too classic..I want the one I can take to the mountains and descend with confidence smile.gif

you are saying greg lemond, miguel indurain, bernard hinault and all the other riders are either idiots or dingbats as they rode those similarly designed bikes to reputable tour victories as claimed by themselves..

there is a reason why old is called old and new is called new...you can't mix them together and expect it to fuse like a vulcan mind meld... or expect to stick scarlett johansson's face onto julie andrews body (of today) and still expect to be attracted to it...

it's just wrong doh.gif

Haha. I mean if those bikes from those era are to be used by now, surely I have no confidence. Anyway what's the c59 price like? In RM. I don't mine the grouppos, ultegra would do.

And cipo is the only bike claimed to be from Italy and made in Italy. Even colnagos are made from some Asian countries I heard. Too expensive then. I thought since it's an Asian built the price could be cheaper.

But I fancy the colnago more than willier or pinarello, with it's classic styling looking. Looking like a proper bike I must say!

Ok since Colnagos is out of reach, what about Cannondale? Still a classic form and sweet looking ride.

It's American so SRAM Red is a nice match for it.
