Hi I know its silly but does all google apps run smoothly on this phone..such as whatsapp and so on. Does this phone support GPS and can someone also let me know the screen resolution.

The screen resolution would be 800*480.

Google apps run smoothly. fast too. whatsapp etc runs well. GPS is good too. Locked on in 8 seconds or so. may be faster than 8s

All google apps that I have used run smoothly. GPS locks on in a maximum of 9 seconds. Usually less. The screen resolution is 800X480.

I have used this wonderful phone for a few days now. I don't think I have notice it restarted before. Which is really a miracle compare to the phones I have used before. Thanks to csl for not screwing around with the OS.

CSL have really managed make an amazing budget phone this time. Kudos to them.

Yes, all the stock apps can be updated.

I found 1 problem with my mi501.

when I connect a earphone to it. The sound comes out muffled. Like my earphone's diafragm is broken.

but my earphone is fine when I pluck it to the pc. So must be the phone's earphone connection or something

anyone else have this problem?

I think the most feature that I love the most on this phone is, It is dual sim. And it never experienced signal loss for BOTH line. I used HTC Sensation XE b4. Signal drop almost frequent. Demn frustrated! Thank god this phone is problem solving.

Added on November 23, 2012, 10:57 pmI experienced earphone must be plugged in halfway in order for it to work. If I place it firmly it wont make sound thru earphone but by the phone speaker instead

No, I do not have this problem, with the in box handsfree or my (fake) Beats. What kind of earphones are you using?

In Lowyat Plaza, the price retails at RM799. In Melaka, I dont't know. The cheapest I know is in Lelong.my, the selller is in this link.
