[SIZE=7]Rooting Mercury mi501
Step 1: Getting Started
- make sure the battery is full. - USB debugging is enabled - Mercury is connected to your PC
Step 2: Drivers
-you will need the approprite drivers to install this device. Dont worry, you dont have to download it. its located in the Internal Storage of the phone. in case its not here, here is the link to download it
http://www.mediafire.com/?3qhvoc4wfylaric- Create a folder in c:\ named "mercury"
- Extract the content of Driver.zip inside "mercury"
- Like so :---> c:\ mercury\driver
- Assuming the phone is already connected, go to Start > My computer > System Properties> Device Manager
- Search for
Unknown --> Android
on some pc it will show as
Unknown Device --> Android
- Richt click on Android and select Update driver Software
-select "Browse my computer for driver software"
-Browse and select the folder "mercury" where you have created in c:\
-Then click Next.
-Your computer should have finished the drivers installation.
- to check, go back to device manager and search for new hardware.
- on top of the list theres should be
android phone --> Tianyu Composite ADB interface
Step 3: Rooting
Now thats the drivers part is done, its time for rooting.

while phone is stll connected, click on "Run Me.bat"
press "1" and enter.
Just follow the instruction on the command prompt.
your phone will restart a few times.. just let it be.
