From 20s~30s, that fade 'tok tok tok' should be IAFM la, other than that, dun know what is that, tek tek tek...tappet?
When you move your camera/fon over to the right side of your IAF module, can hear purge valve making TOK TOK TOK sound. The rest tek tek tek tik tik tik are tepet sound nia. No problem ar. That purge valve should still function without problem, mine sometimes even louder TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK until my wife go down and check whether got flat tyre

When my car is brand new, I didn't notice the sound. Recently this humming+tek tek sound is disturbing me especially if I pop up the hood. Maybe it's injector + tappet sound causing tek tek tek
Me too, when new sure no such noise...now this sound is penetrate into my cabin, in cabin there is two type noise, tok tok tok and tek tek tek.
part of it is due to the faulty gearbox which sometimes wont shift up. And occasionally, when you stomp on the throttle, it will straight away drop two gears. The result is, engine going bonkers, roaring at 5,000rpm~8,000rpm
i gonna return it tomorrow and swear to god, my saga is so much better. The saga has better throttle response, it has better low end power, it has better suspension (for cornering). lol Even if my throttle isn't "nut-ed" yet, the response is still much better.

Hmm, i think so. I remember last time during my car is still 20k, i went back JB-Ipoh-JB. The next morning i start my car, i heard those very loud tok tok tok IAFM noise, really loud, i thought it finally fail and want to claim warranty. But after that it cure itself and never emit those noise anymore.
Since u all comment this noise is still acceptable, then nvm la, just keep going with that.
Ahem Gabby originally does not have intake hose geh. From throttlebody straight connect to air box liao If wanto change filter, gotta take out whole airbox + engine cover. FYI, engine cover itself is another airbox
Oic..lolz didnt know gabby take de intake hose...lolz

for those who always complain about high FC, how RM30 of petrol for 89.2km sounds like? lol
My FLX SE also had the tek tek tek tek sound when new, but not as loud.

I heard before last time when i parked @ highway rest house, one black BLM park beside me, the driver is went to toilet and his wife and kids were all sleep in car. I can't hear the engine sound but the clear and loud 'tok tok tok' from his engine bay. That time i adi know this is the sign of IAFM failure...

yup. I oso heard it before from an auntie's car going pasar. lol
makes me wondering, they really dont know it is a problem or they choose to be ignorant about it...

I think the failure of this IAFM won't affect the engine performance too severe, besides, alot of drivers din take care how their car engine should sounds, how much FC is consider normal and the performance of the engine. They will only know when the car stop @ middle of road one day.
Mana tau dier, engine knocking badly gua Ignorance is bliss.
IAFM problem? what is IAFM? I oni know Ai.FM, no problem ah!
maybe
i open the CRV hood today to check on the power steering fluid and I noticed there's some date and mileage written on the block. I guess my friend's father has the engine rebuilt before. Rebuilt on 2009. I guess he was facing knocking issues too back then.
Sometimes ignorance got its advantage too geh. Know too much like us, will always scratch our head to find the solution, waste of time and money.
True also. Sometimes hear some minor sound that is out of normal, whole nite kenot sleep then next day back to normal...
