Tier = Monthly Total Spend (Shell Fuel Spend + Non Shell Fuel Spend) = Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend = Maximum Shell Fuel Spend to Earn Rebates
1 = RM300 to RM999 = 4% = RM250
2 = RM1,000 to RM2,499 = 6%/td> = RM500
3 = RM2,500 and above = 8 % = RM800

Regard the 30% cash back, I spend on 13 Apr, posting date all fall on 14 Apr. End up I get nothing! From T & C, they also count on how much you have been spend! The more you spend the higher chance you get. For me, I very sure no for next round because I always spend around RM500 plus plus. This is unfair. Its because the final result will count base on amount you have been spend. For sure you will not get 30% cash back base on amount you spend.

agreed ... with enough people writing to Bank Negara to complain about this unhealthy promotion which lack transparency in determining the winners / non-winners, which seems to contain element of "scam" in luring customers, i think it may raise citibank's eyebrows ...

i'm thinking of doing so ... but let's see what they have to say with my email sent to them ...

you know what, after i terminated my HSBC credit cards, nobody cares to call me to confirm my termination, let alone sending me a letter acknowledging the matter ... worst still, their telemarketing dept had been calling me non-stop offering their grandfather and grandmother investment plans etc etc, even after i terminated their credit cards ... so in another words, my account seemed to be still active when in fact it should be closed ... mad.gif

to protect myself, i sent them another nasty letter, cc to Bank Negara ... guess what!!! they call me and talk like long lost lovers, assuring me my account has been closed for good and their relevant department will be notified of my case blah blah blah ... since then i've a peaceful life ... biggrin.gif

I got my 30% for week 2 (participated in week 1,2, and 5). For week 2, I've completed all transactions on Saturday, total amount RM600+. So reading all these comments i would assume that the cash finished on the Saturday itself, and those who spent slightly more gotten the cash back.

i stand to be corrected... but what is there to complaint if you are late or spend less? doh.gif
and for this type of thing i would not expect the bank to announce my name and how much i spent to the public, if lucky draw i don't mind.

the issue here is participants spent above RM500 in all the categories required but still do not know if he/she will get the 30% cashback ... you're happy here because you got your 30% by spending RM600+ ... but if you had spent RM700+ but still not qualified, wouldn't you want to know the reason why?

it's the grey area of not knowing how much is enough to get the 30% ... what if you don't even get it if you had spent RM999+ ... still happy and assume you belongs to the lowest spender so it wasn't your lucky week and keep trying again? if yes, then cool, keep spending ... rclxms.gif

cheers ...

+1
Anyway, to win rm150 in 2 weeks contest is no longer yielding 30% CB. It's well below 15% if one spent more than rm500 each week.

I have done all my qualifying transaction of RM 500+ before 11AM on a Saturday! (Posted the pic a page back). So I have done all I could in my case. What else can I do somemore? I will be giving a call to Citibank soon regarding this.
