my SA no getting back to me oledi (he commited the day before that PW issues solved) as i complain about the power window bulging outwards... but it still happened to one of forumer here who collected 2 days ago...

come to think of it, we need to :-

-put paper to stop dashboard vibration      - I have no such issue, send your car into service centre to rectify it, perhaps poor fitting
-tie fuel line hose to reduce mounting vibration    -  This is an enhanced method by Drex Chan from EA, which transverse mounted engine mounting no gap?
-put 3m tube to reduce sound noise   - This isn't high end car, that should come with top notch noise insulation. Go check out Myvi and share with us.
-put play doh to reduce wind sound   - This isn't high end car, that should come with top notch noise insulation. Go check out Myvi and share with us.
-cut carpet to pedal down more         - One of the 7-points free inspection and rectification by Proton, you can perform at any service centre
-what else...

some more got issue like.

-gluk gluk sound when travelling at 90kmph and above - Check with SC, I dun experience it
-windows klek klek sound going up and down - Already solved with new redesigned power window regulator, do change it at service centre.
-over cranking sound when starting  - Most members mentioned new ECU mapping solve this issue.
-asap smell in cabin                         - The car doesn't come any A/C filter, only hexagonal grille filter, purchase one if you need it.
-air cond noisy sound when blowing  - Check with SC, I dun experience it.
-tank holder rusty                            - Known issue, already given solution by Proton
-seat berbulu                                  - Only certain owners with this issue, can be replaced FOC
-seat noisy goyang goyang like want to cabut already       - Certain owners have this issue, just send the complain, Proton will work this. All manufacturers need feedback from owner, else they won't know the problem that happens on their cars
-wiper hitting frame when high speed      - Readjust the wiper arm position, any SC can do this
-windows panel bulging when roll up       - Unresolved matter
-door welding spot rusty                  - Perhaps only first batch owner have this issue, can be rectified
-car jerking when slow down            - Characteristics of CVT, its the same with DSG gearbox too
-head light not balance                     - Isn't that light on the left should go further than right?
-steering shake when do hard braking      - Please perform tyre/wheel balancing and share with us again on this issue
-boot auto open                               - Redesigned boot lid has solved the issue, latest batch has no such issue anymore. Do visit nearest SC for rectification
-engine mati when reverse               - Known issue with CVT gearbox, do not switch from D to R too fast
-engine cannot start                         - More like lemon units to me
-engine cannot mati                         - More like lemon units to me
-etc etc

I sincerely hope we don't hear any more complaints as above for new batch..or else how to go global..Almera also claimed to be global car..

anyway, my info is from the owner owned preve 2 days only, chassis no close to 16k.
he very sure and confirm the bulging issues and here his reply "Can definitely feel Bengkak wan."

if that is the case, just wait for Proton to come up with the solution..in the meantime, there is nothing wrong with  the operation of the power windows...if regulator issues, unless it causes fire , otherwise just let them have some time to rectify this problem..

Owners can always highlight the problem every time they service their car at the SC..besides, not only Proton have this door frame issue...

I would rather have Proton settle the more important issues like engine suddenly die off or the engine cannot off etc...

Even the Toyota also have Power windows switch problem ..took them few years to realize it..
Toyota Prius also have ECU bug back then, but I don't see the car owners in Malaysia complaining so much? It is a matter of life and death when the ECU goes crazy....

signal weak in certain area or signal weak all the time...I experience it sometimes, somewhere near my house, the FM signal is slightly weak...

I would say the radio reception in Preve is average ..

Preve Side Mirror = Persona side mirror
Preve door handle = Persona door handle?
Preve Exec CVT engine = Proton Saga 1.6 SE engine

If the problem was from Saga BLM, it have been a few years already..still unresolve? It is either the vendor is a SH*THEAD or Proton just don't care about it..

How was your ride with the new ECU/TCU remap?

maybe latter preve should be equipped with mode selector: TOWN, CRUISE, COMBINED

Bro mat79, understand that ecu/tcu update is improvement. How abt power window regulator? Can I said this is due to defect?

What's the damage price-wise? And how much comfort is sacrificed for said performance?

hey. im scared to update the ecu. im afraid it will bring down the top speed. low end might get powerful but top end will loose. what about mid end where we usually deal with? is it good or the car heavier to move in mid end? 

anyone already flash can confirm?

I have a Preve. Just wanna ask. I feel that the ride is bit more bumpy than the Persona although both have multilink suspension. Is it that the Preve's suspension setup is harder or is the GT Radial tyres on Preve a hard compound tyre? If it's the tyres thinking of changing them to something softer.

Hi guys, basically I am having these few problems with my car.
-Firstly there's wobbling in high speed braking and the front tires noise is very obvious when traveling in high speed.
-Secondly the radio reception problem has been bothering me, i get unclear reception most of the time when driving, when it's idling i find it ok. When going on uneven road it's worse, so i suspect there might be a loose connection, which I plan to send it for service + complaints at EON Glenmarie.
-Thirdly and sad most, I saw a flaw on the lh inner taillamp. Looks like it's broken on the top left corner.

Appreciate if any of you could share the remedy for these problems.

Went to proton showroom today to ask whether is there any discount for preve. The SA told me rm2000. Is it ok? Btw my location is in Kuching.

Anyway, the preve test drive unit there has gone through the ecu/tcu update. Very obvious difference. A lot more responsive compared to when i tested previously. Thumbs up!

or you could try and push the SAs harder for discounts. anything from an additional 1-3k(total up to 5k) is possible

what do other people get for their rm/mileage. can share? pls pls      rm 80 for 520 is abt the same as my tank car "the iswara aeroback" use for driving around cheras-kl daily. I thought  new car will be more fuel efficient
