the extra weight from the sound proofing and the bodykit has brought my car power down man...its noticeably heavier now... not to forget im also running on 15"

my car still using the stock 1.0 auto engine wei. only thing changed is the air filter.. exhaust oso still stock

Well, I read frm forums that our 1st gen Kelisa with Daihatsu ECU is more powerful compared to 2nd gen with Perodua ECU..
I still think u need to mod performance, to get the joy of driving back~

dunno about the ECU...but i heard its different la...

performance...dunno wat to mod ler... right now concentrating on the handling aspect... already got absorbers and front strut + anti roll bar.

engine wise dunno wat to do.

as for space...my boss' brother whos over 6 feet tall AND a body builder.. said that the kelisa front passenger seat has more leg room than my boss' jaguar X-Type

Hmmm...well, I am looking to soundproof the wheel area as I found that most of the noise is frm there~
I dun wana soundproof the engine as I like the sound~

I've installed a Mini Turbo and a Power Booster...
The car has good acceleration, feels more spirited and less power loss due to aircond compressor engaging...
And it didn't affect FC, so...it's kinda worth the $$$ spent~
Next planning to drop in a K&N filter in place of the Perodua normal filter as it is cheaper to maintain~

the sound proofing u want can check out HERE, i think that feller is in this forum oso under the nick globalvibes...im actually interested to do the windplug and wheel area oso and also to stop the engine sound from coming into the cabin.

im not a believer in gadgets like surbo, cyclone booster etc etc etc... to me mod would be stuff like PnP, cams, exhaust etc etc which is why i never done those stuff before..although im kinda curious about the supercyclone vacuum booster. dont mind spending money on that one since its so cheap

my airfilter im using a wiremesh drop in replacement filter. forgot the brand but the mesh is the same as blitz. much easier to maintain as all it needs is a quick date with an air gun at the workshop and its clean got that for RM200 in sunway. now all i need to do is my CAI.

i got a problem with my car timing...anyone ever got a problem the timing is hunting meaning up and down constantly if thelights,aircon,and radio on?thx guys appreciate it.

alot of things could be the cause man... though i guess it might be one of the sensors.... best is to take the car to perodua SC, have them diagnose the ECU or the engine to see whats up with ur car...

haha ecu check done during 1k, 5k, 10k, 15k, 25k,30k. all said no problem..

i have to off the engine and then switch it back on then only ok.. how?

i also have a rat type squeaking sound from behind my dashboard near the driver side..if the car is vibrating abit.. P2 just taped the wires ... 25k and 30k check also they just taped it..i try find myself but to no avail..


car just 1.5 years leh...sad

so if its not the ECU i still suggest bringing to SC and tell them about ur idle problem...could be something else man..

squeaking might be from a loose screw/nut/bolt.

y not try looking for better technician outside there since the P2 SC just like robot... my kelisa is 6 years old, there were many problems the robots couldn't solve.. problems mostly fixed by my trusted technician..

frankly speaking you can't avoid the dashboard noise and engine vibration..

about your car's timing problem... it caused by radio n light too? ever checked the alternator e? there must be something sucking too much power else... the uncommon problem might be throttle body is dirty
