Hi guys,

dunno where to post this and i think this is the best place to do it instead of the main FnF section...

I need some recommendations for bucket seats or semi buckets that fits the following criteria

1/ Fits into Kelisa
-i mean size wise. railing comfirm have to do wan la...

2/ Good for back/ backbone
- My GF has rather severe back problems... so something that is comfortable and has good back support is NEEDED especially for the passenger seat. My car suspension is rather stiff so need to consider this as well.
- I also have mild back aches but my GF gets priority coz her back pain is quite bad.
-most seats has better support for driver seat only and nuttin/minimal on passenger side. if both side has equal support would be nice.

3/ SSCUS
-quite interested in SSCUS but dunno how good they are for back support.
-would like to hear thoughts and experiences about these seats for back support

i dont mind if the seats are form other cars e.g GTI Skyline or watever.

EDIT: forgot...budget around +/- 1k... and prefer if they accept credit card...not enough cash tongue.gif

Thanks in advance guys.

You can also custom make the original seats into fabric material. They will add more cushion based on your criteria.

If you changed to SSCUS/Sparco , then the back seat colour is not match already.

sorry to hear about ur gf back prob bro..its quite bad for them esp on long distance travel..my dad has this as well, and he actually prefers my car seats (wiSE) to his vios..but seriously, before you go out there and buy them make sure you test a few with your gf..mayb take her to the shop or use a borrowed ride..diff ppl got diff preference..and yeah, adding sponge to your existing seats may work as well

yeah i heard about custom made bucket seats from stock seats...problem is theyre said to cost as much as a brand new set. also nobody has actually said where to make it....

also stock kelisa seats oso not that good actually...

and im not worried about color as long as the seats are fully black

yeah ive been testing with my GF...but kinda hard to get anything out of it coz i need to test it in my car as my suspension is rather stiff (adjustables).

not too keen on adding sponge to current seats as they arent really good...especially in terms of bucket.

thought about the RX7 Efini seats as well....anyone has any thoughts on those seats? ive never tried them before.

I'd suggest a recaro from an EVO-1. If I remember correctly, it not only has height & reach adjustment, it also has lumbar and shoulder adjustments as well. Should fit your description.
Oh, and get one of those lumbar support back-rests. They help quite a bit too biggrin.gif

the EVO1 recaro is similar style to the N-Joy right? will look into it.

lumbar support back rests?? any pic? thought those lumbar support comes INSIDE the seat...never knew it was sold seperately.

the stock kelisa seats arent that good.... there are semi buckets out there that are much better... like the levin seats u mentioned (but drivers side only). thats why i want them buckets wink.gif

the levin seats was my initial plan....and i already asked a shop, and they say can fit...but ur seating alignment and ur steering wont be aligned. so looking for other alternatives.

and no thanks for the SPG suggestion.... that helps so much shakehead.gif
