yeah.. me been wondering.. how do we 'get' the free rear seat belts??
yo mADmaN, did you do any upgrades to the brakes assembly? like steel braided brake lines, bigger rotor etc? cuz mine felt like 'not biting' if doing some spirited driving in short course. Needed to step on a lil bit harder to get the brakes bite hard. |

nope...brake assembly is stock... dont have the same problem u do though
only thing i did was install Bendix Metal king Titanium which i bought for RM88 from one of the sellers in Garage Sales section.... but im planning on the hoses and mebbe bigger brakes if i can find suitable ones... also ive upgraded my suspension and tires... so that helps alot in the braking too.. EDIT: forgot to mention....also using DOT4 brake fluid...cant remember the brand but i think its bosch. This post has been edited by mADmAN: Jun 3 2008, 01:34 AM |

i was considering the myvi brakes actually... ur right its plug and play.... and is the best and easiest option as there alot of different brands of pads and of diffferent quality and prices which are widely available..also the discs are quite easy to find...
BUT........ i was reading through the myvi forum and it seems theres ALOT of cases of the discs warping. one of the reasons why the myvi brakes are quite easily available. coz people are claiming for warranty... and they sell off the new units and upgrade their discs to something better. the disc warping issue is so common that even the perodua SC knows about it...and just do a minimal check when u complain. AXT discs also have the same warping issue... and i dont know of any other affordable and reliable aftermarket discs for the myvi. they did mention d-sport or something like that in their forum...but couldnt find any details. haha.. I do read somewhere bout people recommending swapping with Myvi's brakes as Myvi's are ventilated discs right? that helps alot in cooling.
nak cari Brembo.. mana ada size untuk Kelisa. Kalau ada pun, minimum size for rims will be 16".. |

This is a great time to own a kelisa. I think we're acceted not as much of the fuel price increase as those ppl driving fuel thirsty cars...

QUOTE(farique @ Jun 5 2008, 09:19 AM) holy crap! not even 5"!!!! ur thinking of getting 15"??? both 6.5" and 7" would do fine imho. just that with 6.5 u can choose either 165/50 or 175/50 tires. with 7 its not advisable to use 165/50. problem is... 175/50 theres only the crappy NCT5....theres also the Dunlop but not easy to find. how i wish they made the ST115 in 175/50 damn. And I've been thinking of getting 7" for the sake of filling the lack of width! maybe 6.5" will do. offset +45. Noted. btw, I think Kelisaclub forum is down again.. and this time for good. and from what ive read around the recommended offset for 15" would be +38 to +42 max...mine is 15*6.5 + 40 and kelisaclub forum is back up....since yesterday my kelisaclub nick - kzijen QUOTE(lonewolf @ Jun 5 2008, 09:20 AM) @madman yeah ive read that as well... theyre using EG brakes. theres also someone selling rear discs for kcars in automotive garage. i asked where the brakes are from and he said SR4 (EG).nop..wait for free belts Added on June 5, 2008, 9:21 am yes..is ventilated..i heard some even use honda brakes.not sure which model QUOTE(icez @ Jun 5 2008, 11:53 AM) This is a great time to own a kelisa. what is the fuel tank capacity for kelisa 1.0L? when I drive at about 90kmph, the RPM will jump to about 3k, at 100kmph it will become 3.5k RPM This post has been edited by dattebayo: Jun 7 2008, 02:12 PM |
