I found this thread a few weeks ago, been reading up of your previous threads. So i know i am in the right place to ask your humble opinion.
I've been looking around for some time, and finally decided on getting this watch. Any opinion on it and the acceptable price?

ML Les Classiques Phase de Lune, get from AD is very much controlled.
lowest online is this, try to get close to this number.
http://www.gemnation.com/watches/Maurice-L...-13E-21818.html

the les Classiique range is their entry level watches, expect undecorated movement (ML 154 base on ETA 7751)
http://www.chrono24.com/en/mauricelacroix/...cnum=3&tab=pics

can get a similar movement at lower price and better decorated.

AFAIK, Tissot does not sell any COSC chronographs.

A Mido All Dial V7750 COSC can be bought for around RM5.5K.

Although more expensive, you might want to consider a Longines Caliber L688.2 chrono. (ETA A08.231 exclusive to Longines) It's the cheapest Swiss column wheel chronograph.

the more established pawn shops require some form of ID from seller before even buying it.
i know the guy in cash converters PJ has gotten some good deals for himself over the years.

hmm, this seiko 5 looked quite nice for the price, and quite modern not apek style at all. 199 is quite cheap la, i thought a couple of years ago they have increased all seiko 5's prices to over rm270? where is the shop? do they sell other brands also at lower prices?
