I never liked those Transformer crap. They looked silly when they're in robot mode. Not to mention they have crap articulation for most of the time (legs can't spread, so they look retarded while standing).

Okay, so the markers we bought are busted >_>...

The special kind of weasel's fur used for a brush is much better than a Nylon (has the elastic properties of a nylon, only better), though it's very expensive.

I do mix the acrylics with thinners. It dries slower and allow you to give an even paintjob on a large surface. I don't know about the enamel though, never used them.
*
u sure the legs cant spread? cos i dont remember it to THAT much detail. but i liked a few of em. and MEGATRON! that guy's the ultimate transformer man. looks way cooler than the ape optimus with his Trex beast mode and Dragon evolution mode.

no la, theres nothing wrong with the batch. i think the markers were made to behave like crap.

ZOMFGWTF!!! Weasel's fur?? like I R WEASEL??!! why weasels? of all furry animal thangs?

ah thinners. so ill just follow wat u do la. ill get the bottled tamiya paint and go to the hardware shop for thinner.

Open the fingers of Red Frame's hand and make it touch Impulse's head or something. Lowe accidentally discovered that attack during one of his encounters with Gold Frame during the OMG-RED-FRAME-GOT-HIJACKED-BY-ONE-OF-THE-ASTRAY-GIRLS arc.

They only appeared in Gundam Seed Astray. Like a sidestory of Gundam Seed. Later there's gonna be another sidestory like Gundam Seed Astray...featuring the modified version of Strike Gundam. Called Stargazer or something. Can't wait for it drool.gif

Gundam Seed Astray is a manga only release, although they did have short OVAs for both the Red Frame and Blue Frame (about 5 mins each OVA).

There's some sidestory (MSV- Mobile Suit Variation) for SEED, mainly dealing with the three prototypes of the M1 Astray- Red/Blue/Gold Frame. The story is only available on the Astray/Astray R/Astray X/Destiny Astray, and on a novel Astray B.

The former deals with the story of Lowe and his Junk Guild, the latter deals with Gai's storyline which some parts were left out from the manga ever since he took off with Blue Frame that Lowe found.

Astray has 4 volumes, Astray R has the same story as Astray, only that it fills in the gap of some plots missing from the original manga. Both are done by different artists with very different drawing style. Astray X continues Astray/Astray R's storyline (you see Kira's defected clone here, piloting Hyperion, and Legend's prototype here). Destiny Astray takes part after Astray X, filling in some gaps that the failed SEED Destiny animu missed out (ie: original test pilots of the 3G, multi purpose of Impulse's sihoulette system).

Some interesting stuffs to note:
-Lowe used a OMG HAX pair of HUEG arms in the last volume of Astray R, which allows him to wield the OMG 100M LOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG physical sword- Gerbera Straight
-Lowe > every pilot in CE universe. His creativeness in combat amuses me, verily (SHININGGGG FINGAAAA FTW!)
-Destiny Astray is about to get finished in Japan, and I heard that someone finally met with Destiny Impulse, yes, f***ing DESTINY IMPULSE
-Lowe suggested the black skin guy in AA to replace Freedom's head with GINN's head that he have in spare, in later volumes of Astray. There's even a drawing of it. I lol'd at that.

Without coloring the Strike Rouge looks way too pinkish. >_<

But yeah, nice model kit. If it weren't for the need to color, I would've gotten one for myself. tongue.gif

Whee... finally finished assembling the Zeta ver.2.0, now it's time for the new warrior to join ranks with the rest of the team.

Seems true with some model kits. Like the above pic, the Zeta ver.2.0's blue colour makes it look like it's made of lower-Q plastic compared with the more solid-looking default kit blue of the ver.1.0. Makes the ver.2.0 look cheaper(?... herrgh.. sweat.gif )

Well, not yet, cause I like to follow my regular modelmaking procedure of quick-assembling the kit first, leaving it as-it-is for preliminary study and scrutinization of the model kit in default condition for planning of any upgrade or modification if necessary, then only will the temporal finishing be done (i.e. panel-lining, stickers). The next step would of course involve doing the complete finishing for the kit, like filing off surface irregularities, surfacing and the airbrushing.

Fact of matter is a large majority of my plamo are in the temporal finishing stage, except for the few gunpla going through the conversion process at the moment. Gotta get me that important epoxy putty soon... tongue.gif
