QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 27 2006, 12:25 PM) If you like Amatsuthen it's worth to buy it since there's no other Amatsu in the market now I personally won't buy it because I don't buy gold plated models firstly it's more expensive compare to others secondly it will leave some ugly cut marks after u cut it from the runners |

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 28 2006, 12:43 AM) OkiE...below3, buDget onLy fOR one...wHich one sHould i Choose??? choice (a) and © are better than (b) both kits are much cheaper than it and are MG. The gold frame is just too expensive for a NG.a) MG MK2 Titans VersIon 2.0 b) 1/100 GolD fraME amatSU b) MG F91 OR waIt fOr the MG sTrike+IWSP or MG croSSbone??? ThANks all the SIfus ouT there~~~~~~~ The inner frame of the 2 MG are just fantastic and the price is just RM100++ while the NG kit here is about 150 / 160++ (not quite worth it) purchases (b) unless you really love it. |

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 28 2006, 12:43 AM) OkiE...below3, buDget onLy fOR one...wHich one sHould i Choose??? Ok, I'm biased... Get the MKII a) MG MK2 Titans VersIon 2.0 b) 1/100 GolD fraME amatSU b) MG F91 OR waIt fOr the MG sTrike+IWSP or MG croSSbone??? ThANks all the SIfus ouT there~~~~~~~ The MKII's price is the main factor here. RM140 for an MG with a new frame and hell lot of articulation and detail. The only problem here is the plain orthodox boxy design of gundam, i mean it might not cater to those who like fancy designs like freedom or WZC. And also the MKII lacks bigass unique weapons, it only has a simple bazooka, sabres, rifle, and cheesy vulcan pod. F91... too small for my liking haha. Actually the size is a lesser factor. The main thing here is the elbow joint. Having a rotating elbow might reduce the stability, since the elbow will have 3 moving parts, like the old designs of GW 1/100 models. But hell lots of weapons and a nice stand. Also the cheaper price. Actually the F1 is a very detailed model, especially it has loads of gimmicks, like the weapons hidden in the hip plates. Sigh... broke now... if anyone wants to buy my justice and deathscythe then maybe i can afford the F91 Amatu... Nothing special except for the design and chrome plating. But the price is high for a non MG. Maybe you should wait for the IWSP, but I am certain that the price would be higher... much higher. Or just get the MKII if your hands are already itchy for action. And what's with the typing case? This post has been edited by StarGhazzer: Aug 28 2006, 10:04 AM |

Gundam model kits fans are from kids until adults
1/60 models without inner frame is to cut cost so that the price of the model won't be nearly as same as PG kits Modellers which want to build a fixed pose Gundam models will be happy to see a cheaper ver. of 1/60 which is not as expensive as PG kits |

if it was me, I'd get the MK-II AEUG version instead. (Make sure its V2
anyway, I was taking a look at dannychoo.com pics and guess what I found Strike Gundam (Clear Pearl Shift) Blue Frame Astray 2nd L (Extra Finish) - probably the best looking extra finish ever to me HG Destiny (Clear version) OMFG - MG FREEDOM GUNDAM (CLEAR VERSION!!!) |

I'm guessing you don't have the Aile Strike so the IWSP Strike would make a pretty cool addition. Grandslam sword, IWSP pack (ie, loads of weapons) what more can you ask for?a) MG MK2 Titans VersIon 2.0 b) 1/100 GolD fraME amatSU b) MG F91 OR waIt fOr the MG sTrike+IWSP or MG croSSbone??? ThANks all the SIfus ouT there~~~~~~~ Or better yet get the Acguy! Zeon MS are always big and bulky and loads of fun to build! But good luck looking for one, I've seen it at Jusco retailing around RM279.90! |

The stand provided with the AEUG MKII is indeed nice, especially with the rising platform. But it is more suitable for standing poses, like the mecha stored inside a bunker... The Zeta / Strike's launchpad stand is better looking. But I kinda like the rafflesia of F91... very unique. Meh... my RM1 clothes hanger stand will do just fine Clear version models look really cheesy, if not ugly IMO. Extra finished models are also not as good as the plain colored one. My friend's extra finished Zeta looks really cartoonish, and the panel lines effect are not as nice. Furthermore the increased price is not really worth it, not forgetting the little bits of damage to the parts when you trim the excess bits from the runner. 6K yen for extra finished 2ndL compared to the normal 2500 yen. OMFG... might as well get a few more MGs. This post has been edited by StarGhazzer: Aug 28 2006, 02:40 PM |
