Ya trading with news is very difficult but very profitable.Can get 50 pip++ in less than 1 hour.

Yesterday was so hectic..was losing more than 1k$, then keep scalping until late night and got positive 300$.

Today dont feel like scalping anymore, so stressful..

But I think EU is the best pair for this week.
I focus on 1 pair and grab nice profit for this week~

After demo for 1 week+, my 3k$ acc is now 5238$. I think I will open a live acc to practice after I manage to reach 10k$. Still confuse about leverage and margin.

leverage is just something like Broker loaning you money to trade fx, without leverage, you will need a few million USD to trade fx... margin is something like the deposit you must make to utilize the leverage. As for the calculation, the margin requirement for a standard contract ( 1.0 standard lot ) is the 100,000 / leverage. < some brokers will multiply the price in there as well.

Still same value just that a couple that are more confident I put bigger lot. Then I just tp after 10-20 pips. Made 33 trades. 25greens vs 8reds. Some of the reds are too big lol.

I think you better continue trading with demo first while reading up about forex...learn up the basics. What you did is more like gambling. A real account is very different from a demo account especially the way you trade. Discipline, emotions and education is very important. Don't rush into it

Thanks for the advice, yea I will read up more and improve. I'll only open a real acc once I reach my demo target, and the purpose of the real acc is also part of my learning as there's where I think I can train my discipline and emotions to the next level.

Where got ppl learn from newbie one...=.= anyway I was:
using bollinger band, RSI and stoch
see different time frame, see the trend
trade 4-5 pairs of diff currency at a time, those with low spread I'll tp them around 10pips, those with higher spread will try between 10-20 pips.
After tp, straight away search for the next pair that I feel the most confident with.
Then keep repeating the process, keep 4-5 pairs..
and then the most important thing..PRAY!! Hahaha...

I also still a newbie mah.... lol my strategy almost the same like you except that i only trade xauusd and i use another two moving averages to make my decision. So far, not much better than any strategies i tried. Today earn xxx pips, tmrw lose xxx pips. At the end profit zero. Wth. So tiring.

I remember those days when i started learning forex.Always watching the monitor until asleep. Visited forex factory like every few minutes.
