Original set = It feels and looks like an S3, and *#01*# works correctly, goto Settings > About and it should say i9300 in the Model number part, and should come with ICS/JB

check for SME sticker at the box ... make sure it is seal and unseal in front of u.... i din really check as i got it frm digi ..i trust digi wont give me grey set...LOL...

nope.. that only for touchwiz famework..
ROM like cyanogenmod, supernexus, AOKP use AOP framework.. so that feature will not available..

unless u are using ROM that use touchwiz framework such as Android Revolution HD, CheckRom...

Yes, you're right. This time when I try to do another triangle away, rom counter was reset but status remain as modified.

Looks like what one forumer say here is true, triangle away may work to change status in ics but not jb. So, unless there is a new patch, looks like the next ota release will hv to be done via a firmware download from Samsung and then flash with Odin and finally root, am I right?

my S3 died.. duno what happen., just died. one time i FB'ing, email and whatsapp, leave it on desk then check it later after 10 minutes, just died.

start button, nothing happen. reset (start button + vol up + menu button), nothing happen also. plugin charger, nothing happen also, even the green charging led not appear. no response to USB jig.
my S3......just...... DIED

help.. what to do? it never drop, no water whatsoever. unroot, stock rom stock everything. the only thing i did recently is JellyBean OTA update about 3,4 days ago and normal apps update.

may be battery kosong .... 1 st take battery out for 5 min.. then put battery back... charge for 10 min then try on and on back.

you all re=root with V6.4?, how come when i press update it showed "the device has been modified, software updates are not available"

anyone facing with cant receive call/SMS? like when the phone idle, and u cant receive any call or sms, but will only receive after restarted.

You can still get a normal status but quite a hard way as you need to do a factory reset in order to get your next FOTA. Any use of CWM will trigger the status back to modified.
