Possible reasons would be it's not the final build firmware or the benchmarks don't fully support Android 4.2 yet.

In the Verge review at Google HQ, the Google guys should be using them to show to The Verge guys. You see no cables around the phone and the reviewers are like looking at a bigger display.

I think so  laugh.gif

But that's not 'demo' right?
*
Like how the Nexus 7 had its display mirrored via microHDMI on Google I/O, only to have that port disappear in consumer units?

Dammit. The lack of Wireless Display adapters that are compatible with Miracast is not helping.

most of the benchmark are browser based benchmark.

i think its not fare to compare the performance of the hardware, coz these benchmark can easily manipulated.

Let's see what I can get from Galaxy Nexus. Come back in a minute brows.gif

laugh.gif First time run Octane.

Google Octane:
Laptop 8.4k
Galaxy Nexus 1582

Mozilla Kraken:
Laptop 3852.6ms +/- 3.8%
Galaxy Nexus 24173.1ms +/- 3.1%

Browsermark:
Laptop 529182 shocking.gif (last time even lower than Nexus)
Galaxy Nexus 143864

Sunspider:
Laptop 360.9ms +/- 3.5%
Galaxy Nexus 1590.9ms +/- 4.3%

Galaxy Nexus still rocks whistling.gif whistling.gif

P/S: All the results shown are benchmarked with Galaxy Nexus on AOKP Euroskank + Trinity Kernel overclocked to 1536MHz

Benchmark means nothing. Did it just for fun tongue.gif

I really really really can't wait for this phone to be released in Malaysia.

For me the most important deciding factor when choosing an Android phone is vanilla Android.

This phone seems future proof enough; sure LTE would be nice to have but I'm using prepaid internet anyway so my data usage would not be a lot.

16 GB is a bit on the low side when it comes to storage but I'm willing to compromise.

I initially wanted to buy the Galaxy Nexus but it was nearing the end of its lifecycle; now that the Nexus 4 is here I think I've made my decision. smile.gif

*Come on LG Malaysia don't do anything that might spoil the appeal of this phone!*

No need to book la, just walk into any LG shop and buy je. LG don't have the market like Samsung or Apple, so I guess you can buy straight from Telcos too?
