LG phone..lack of support and accessory..thats how I felt with O2x

True,, that is one thing that's going against nexus 4 at the moment...LG phones have very limited presence in Malaysia. its just nowhere near as big as the other brands htc, Samsung and apple. does anyone have any experience with warranty claims with LG Malaysia?

b4 buying this phone...need to check the battery life first...i'm done with galaxy nexus which is not good in battery life but i must admit that galaxy nexus is a quite decent phone but in term of battery life is really poor..extremly hope that LG nexus 4 has good battery life..biggrin.gif:D

i'm more afraid of the un-detachable battery...if anything happened you'll have to replace the whole phone? T_T

but with a s4 processor? and diffrent chipset, we still ned to evaluate..
but if compared to a gnexus, it will be like 6 hr screen time with 15 hr standby.. i guess.
since average is 4 hr screen and 13 hr standby

I really really really can't wait for this phone to be released in Malaysia.

For me the most important deciding factor when choosing an Android phone is vanilla Android.

This phone seems future proof enough; sure LTE would be nice to have but I'm using prepaid internet anyway so my data usage would not be a lot.

16 GB is a bit on the low side when it comes to storage but I'm willing to compromise.

I initially wanted to buy the Galaxy Nexus but it was nearing the end of its lifecycle; now that the Nexus 4 is here I think I've made my decision. smile.gif

*Come on LG Malaysia don't do anything that might spoil the appeal of this phone!*
*
laugh.gif 16GB is low but looking at the price, I think 8GB is more worthy rolleyes.gif But 16GB also barely enough for me cry.gif
Using Galaxy Nexus laugh.gif

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 3 2012, 07:17 PM)
I dont think telcos will sell the phone. So far no telcos selling any Nexus phone.
*
yawn.gif Then the Nexus S I've seen in Maxis website 1.5 years back isnt nexus?
Nexus sold by Digi since it launched isn't Nexus also? My friend bought nexus from digi when it is still at 2k price range.

Maybe my eyes are cheating me.

Looking at that new battery life test, it's like not very very much better than Nexus. Optimus G is quite much better than Nexus though. Weird these two phones behave differently in those tests.

2100mAh. I thought this is leaked maybe a month back tongue.gif

But the battery test shows that this one has inferior battery life to Optimus G despite almost 100% similar spec and hardware hmm.gif

Should be? Anyway... I guess it'll be still a single charge everyday laugh.gif

Something amiss with the score.

If you read Samsung Chromebook review, it scored 2x faster in Sun Spider, 40% faster in browser mark when compared to Nexus 10. Both are having same soc.

Somehow some compromise have to be made to make the price cheap and appeal to the mass market.
I think if optimus g has better battery life then the nexus 4 has to sacrifice battery quality. hmm.gif
well unless optimus g sell for cheaper price than nexus 4 then i'll have nothing to say lol

Or maybe it's due to the prerelease firmware? The Verge's review stated that the lockscreen is still the same as 4.1.1

But it might not be optimized for the phone yet, at least not for the benchmarks. wink.gif

My bad,it was actually Engadget's review that mentioned the lock screen. It is 4.2 but doesn't have the new lock screen

QUOTE
The new and improved Jelly Bean also features native widget support on the Lock Screen and even offers multiple panels for additional widgets. Our units didn't come with the feature, as it likely won't be available until the Nexus devices start shipping out, but this may very well be one of our favorite additions to Android. We love the idea of being able to view emails, calendar appointments and other notifications without entering the home panel -- it may sound like we're too lazy to take an extra step and unlock the screen to see our widgets, but the ability to quickly glance at crucial information without entering your phone should not be underestimated.
