just wondering whether LG N4 will have international warranty like Nexus 7?

sadly is no

QUOTE(Icehart @ Nov 2 2012, 08:57 PM)
lol even if optimus g cheaper or on par with nexus, i still won't choose LG.
they are very slow in updating OS. In this case, probably making the update available for LG phones.
at least for nexus, u get it direct from google.  laugh.gif

i also coming from apple background
the 3gs era
this is my first android phone
hopefully it is as good as iphone's ownership experience, if not better  rclxms.gif

you are right, lg phone slow in software update =_=
and LG phone also got its good point which is build quality, see their phone the spec not bad and the cheap is cheaper
disadvantage is very low resell value, hard find accessories
but this is nexus device, and they just make the phone only, nothing related to the software update and update is by google

I'm using Galaxy Nexus which I must say the SAmoled HD (it's the first SA HD anyway) on this is not good enough and the pixel is still noticeable (due to pentile thingy). It should be fixed in GNote 2 SAmoled with the new sub pixel config.

That display banding was fixed in S3.

Well, he clearly indicated that he meant LG's flagship model. We all know that Nexus is under Google.

Not, at least not fully, you can still notice the crosshatch with closer inspection(no need to be too close). More significant especially on white pixels.

On Note2(due to the full RGB matrix), I can't deny that it is really being solved, can't even notice any crosshatch even inspect close up.

How old was the display that you inspected? Without screen protector?

I will check my colleague's one and get back to you. smile.gif

both concerns is for the LTE and the back glass. lol, back glass is not a new thing for user to concern since apple has adopt it earlier with iphone 4, i dont know why it has to be an issue now. for LTE i guess its a bummer for the US user, but for us, most of us dont really care bout it. As long as can facebook and instagram is all that matter. Cloud usage is still far beyond our reach in my opinion. Maybe next year by that time im sure there will be nexus 5 already. So yeah, im also waiting for gsmarena battery test and call quality. Hoping it to be good. smile.gif

In the middle of reading "Verge" review, something caught my eye.

QUOTE
That glass covering is cause for concern, however. While testing the phone, I accidentally knocked the device off of my dining table and onto a hardwood floor... cracking the glass on the back. It's a small fracture, but had I just paid $300 for the device, I would be irate, and I'm not sure what LG or Google's policy is on replacement

It seem that the glass behind the phone is quite fragile, easily crack or perhaps scratch?

i just watched the video,there's a hairline crack,seems quite fragile.maybe nexus 4 needs a 3mm thick tpu case for protection tongue.gif

Anyone seen any video of the Nexus 4 demo-ing Miracast? Weird how almost none of the reviews tried this feature out, as it is IMO the most important feature on the Nexus 4.

Only found on YouTube some random Taiwanese company demoing Miracast using their own made adapter and another random device.

In the Verge review at Google HQ, the Google guys should be using them to show to The Verge guys. You see no cables around the phone and the reviewers are like looking at a bigger display.

I think so laugh.gif

But that's not 'demo' right?
