Hey guys, reviews are out by both The Verge and Engadget

both concerns is for the LTE and the back glass. lol, back glass is not a new thing for user to concern since apple has adopt it earlier with iphone 4, i dont know why it has to be an issue now. for LTE i guess its a bummer for the US user, but for us, most of us dont really care bout it. As long as can facebook and instagram is all that matter. Cloud usage is still far beyond our reach in my opinion. Maybe next year by that time im sure there will be nexus 5 already. So yeah, im also waiting for gsmarena battery test and call quality. Hoping it to be good.

In the middle of reading "Verge" review, something caught my eye.
It seem that the glass behind the phone is quite fragile, easily crack or perhaps scratch?

Possible reasons would be it's not the final build firmware or the benchmarks don't fully support Android 4.2 yet.

No need to book la, just walk into any LG shop and buy je. LG don't have the market like Samsung or Apple, so I guess you can buy straight from Telcos too?

Or maybe it's due to the prerelease firmware? The Verge's review stated that the lockscreen is still the same as 4.1.1

Iam not sure what you mean by that, the wireless charger is sold separately. From all unboxing videos i have seen, the retail unit comes with usb charger and sim remover tool only....no earphones or any extras like that

the wireless charging dock is so handsome

no practical usage? I think it's the most practical way to charge. I hate having to fumble with usb cables. I will most likely permanently leave the dock on my desk and whenever I get to my desk its as simple as putting it down. I personally would love this feature.

the verge review say the glass at the back is a con but also say built quality has improved its just another rubbish review

Why is it in different league? There is one seller in LYN offering bulk purchase in Garage. Anyone buying? BTW, is it true that the phone is made entirely in glass?

True... Front and back are gorilla glass. Not 'entirely' but most of the area is glass

I remember in the nexus 4 intro video, they do mention that they design the edge slightly curve out so that when falling, it will hit the edge first before hitting the glass. IMHO, unless fall on very uneven surface then it will not break easily.

If it's 1399 and come with above mediocre performance and review. Guess I'm glad to be the owner of Nexus 4 family. Is LG reliable?

I am not worry about the OS performance but rather the spec performance. Like Sony Acro S, although it's similar with s2 specs, but the performance isnt that great. My own usage review.

maybe because sony isnt that great in making the OS,
be rest assure with google phone it will always be smooth,
smoothness is not just about hardware, it about software mostly, even the lowest spec can be smooth if the OS is great (see iphone, low spec, but first few months is smooth, LOL)

It seems LG has been jacking up the price for NEXUS 4 in countries like Italy and Spain. Hopefully we wont see the same case here.
