You can raise the max TCP connections to 4096 and play around with the QoS settings also to give priority to a certain program.

Yes you need to set it to PPPoE and enter all your Streamyx login details and you should be connected.

Holee heck, someone should do a summary of this looong thread ... waded through everything, terribly mind numbing but gleaned lots of useful info.

Anyone have any experience with the linksys usb wireless adapter? WUSB54 - it consumes a heck of a lot of windows memory ( 192,000kb in windows task manager ). it wil slowly go up (memory usage) within 2-3 days ? tried not using the linksys drivers - somewhat better but problem still persist. Anybody have this problem and have a solution for it ?

Using dd-wrt on a 54gl doing a lot of BT and Emule'ing.

You can try to press and hold the reset button located at your modem. Most modems will be back to bridge mode by default after resetting it.

Thanks for the short answers..

about the rma part without going thru the shop..i meant like some products allows us to send the device ourself to the distributor/service center where we deal directly with them..normally faster than sending thru the shop..
does this covers linksys as well?

btw..thanks stmu for the link

google or linksys' website.

Oh, i just got my WRT54GL v1.1 and Aztech DSL600EU to replace my almost dying Prolink 9000G. Loaded DD-WRT, and now loving every inch of it. It's far more responsive and stable.

EDIT:
Nvm, self answered.
