standby quite suck, like samsung. but usage quite ok full charge with 3g surfing can get 6-8 hours if its drain 50% for 4 hours!

Err...i only know samsung devices with Exynos chip is can run perfectly watever movie,gif,pic format u trow in,no need any different apps either h/w or s/w to decode.thats the power from samsung very own exynos SoC.tegra3 is abit overrated.
Come on,diff price of cos there r diff quality.btw, i use N7 for browsing n gaming only.for movie i still go for 7.7 bcos sd card n usb/sd adaptor hotswapple easier,nicer amoled.

I have finally conceded that Tegra3 is overrated. I thought it really made a lot of difference in gaming, but in reality not much. Disappointed but finally faced facts

Erm...gaming diff only at tegra optimization.other than that not much diff.had to get 32gb bcos hd games data huge.tegra3 quod core run with diceplayer still smooth,just sometime hv a bit choppy,split a second only.but dual core exynos at 7.7 is run really great even 1080p tdkr.

U need special game compile for Tegra 3 to get the benefit...
eg... Tegra HD Game (THD)
then u will get the water rendering and some smoke particle

sometime u will see some HD game look and run better on other chip
the answer is simple... the game they tested is based on tegra 2 build
(realracing 2hd, pvz hd and fruit ninja thd...)
oh tegra is not the only video/3d chip out there... eg adreno / powervr / mali

for video hw decoding, i think most of the chip out there is about the same
all r using the same (eg H.264) hw decoding patent design
and nope of them is special to specific codec...
in some cases certain codec and filter, u wont get quad-core to process ur video

but 1 thing for certain, manufacture did release the video output rate
tegra3 ~ 40Mbps video for H.264

It's not that I haven't tried THD games, then I compared it to iPad's version. It's great, as good even. But not better.. And games like NFSW runs great but nothing really exciting. I mean it's a good system, I'm not saying it's bad per say. It's just nothing better and Tegra3 seems to be some nvidia endorsed hyped.

Agreed. It's not bad, but blown out of proportions by Nvidia. I hear the newer gameloft stuff (Nova 3 etc) lags on Nex 7 as well

Ah okies.. Still pretty new to android so I got the tendency to compare the battery life to Symbian. Those Nokia phones really can last.

I went to Senheng for the Nexus 7C. They offered me 0% instalment for 6 months, charge RM25 (service charge) for 12 months on Maybank credit card. Didn't ask longer than 1 year..

that one is standard for senq...u must buy atleast rm1k for installment though...

Yeah called em up, seems standard for the installment. The guy said 85 for service charge, but he sounded blur. 6 months no charge, so guess that's fine. Other cards can do as well phew

just to clarify, unlike the Samsung Tab 7.7 3G, the Nexus 3G version cannot be used to make calls and thus cannot replace your Symbian phone.

To save battery, I frequently switch to Flight Mode... but...
I notice when i turn on Flight Mode, the wifi is still running on background
I need to turn off and turn on again to enable the Flight Mode, ehhh
