Dats why, 'comm'ing fishes can be challenging, as certain species (and even certain individuals) have their own behaviour. Hows ur recent feeding style? Maybe u can try small fishes in big quantity. Cuz if u put few units per time, maybe the one with more active characteristics will finish it all.

My case, i put 20-30 small fishes (the one costs about 10 cents). Sometimes they both (endli & ornate) finish all 30 in 2 days. Sometimes i put additional 10-20 bigger fishes (costs 20 cents), which was meant only for the big endli. I never tried bigger tilapias (costs 50 cents), cuz i think theyre too big. But u never tell how big is too big when it comes to bichir feeding sweat.gif

There once he killed quite a big carp, but finally gave up as he couldnt swallow it up whole sweat.gif

Watt??? 30 small fishes cost only 10 cents? So cheap! Nw im feeding three times daily(massivore pellets) and put in 5-6 feeder fish(my lfs call it ikan seluang) mixed wit baby carps at nite. Bt i tink only my albino senegal n endli hunt for the fish, the ansorgii is too lazy though.

They might refuse pellets if got feeder fishes around. Maybe u can try more fishes at night? My endli only hunts fish at night. Daytime only go for leftover SW.

I buy feeder fish from big farm cost around 3-5 cents per piece depending on size. They call it leko or low grade carp fry or something like that. I found out that some species of bichirs only active and eat at night and some are active all the time.
