Few meteor spam will surely melt mobs fast but on the downside the freeze time will be less

Unless you have a wizard nearby to help you with the freeze...

Yeah. Thing I dislike about wiz is u can't go all out DPS. And it seems there is no such things as too much AR.

Someone offered 3.5b for my amulet. I got it for 1b on the GAH and no one wanted it. Was on there for so many hours.

I guess you buy smth on GAH, then list it on diabloprogress. Some noob will offer you big money for it.

I think tal amulets with say 6-7cc are still okay. The 10cc ones are insanely priced. Anyway i don't know how it is on the US but at least here average damage ones with 6-7cc are cheap. Basically, higher CC means higher price.

so just find one with high average damage because CC only inflates your DPS but average damage gives you solid damage.

Rare rings with average damage, CC and CHD should be cheap. I've seen some very good ones that are dirt cheap. People want trifecta so such rings are left out. And archon doesn't depend on AS so is a win win.

I only went for unity and wailing host because of the 8% elite i get from both rings.

Archon weapons might be the biggest problem at least here on the EU cuz some WDs are getting smart and starting to use black weapons with low APS. Some still use skorn but some use axe or spear which causes the price to rise.

Anyway, good luck and with patch 1.0.8 coming, archon will be a big hit i think.

DISINTEGRATE BUILD/SPEC (MINI ARCHON)

Been trying out a disintegrate spec and so far pretty cool. Can channel without much problem and i only ran out of arcane power when up against 3 elite packs.

The stuff I bought to test this specs are:

1. Dark Mage Shade (-3 cost)
2. SoJ (-5 cost)

Well they are a few different combinations of gears.

1. Mempo + APoC Triumvirate + SoJ
2. Storm Crow with APoC + Triumvirate + SoJ
3. DMS + APoC Triumvirate + SoJ
4. DMS + Triumvirate + SoJ

The essential piece so far IMO is the SoJ unless you can further tweak the build but so far I've been unsuccessful to remove the SoJ

Best combination is No. 2 IMO cuz with a black weapon the 8% from storm crow > 9 AS and less AS is better with such channeling build. And APoC triumvirate is much more expensive and the average damage is lower as well.

Skills you can check my profile. There is one empty slot and i've used venow hydra cuz with a CM wiz is pretty good. Possible alternatives are Blizzard, Meteor, Arcane Orbit (looks very cool) or Arcane Torrent.

Another interesting spec is the one currently being worked on by metalfreak. The sleet storm build is pretty awesome. Black Ice is smth I'm currently looking at as well.

For the runs i make, i keep legendary (62-63) and set items un-id. Sometimes i do keep rings and ammy.

When 1.08 comes, walaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa id all together and see which one sellable.

which one should i buy ?

let say a 1100dps wand, 1.4as, lower avg dmg to spear
and 1100dps spear, 1.2as, higher avg dmg than wand

^ aspd beats avrg dmg flat. In your case you get mor dps frm wand, after including the element bonus..do u want a full explanation? Will be very long..hehe

Depends. If you wanna go archon build. AS is not important.

Triumvirate calculation is based on the weapon's damage range. The spear is better.

The AS only inflates the DPS but average damage is doesn't. Plus elemental damage benefits more from avg dmg.
