by "decent cheap", how much u mean exactly lolz
i myself hv been checking AH regularly for a chant source with apoc .. the "cheapest" i found recenlty within my budget (below 100m) was a 21x avg dmg with only 6 apoc for 50m, but unfortunately i need at least 9 apoc (to get total of 18 since my chant wand hv 9 apoc)
looks like i hv to wait for an unlikely drop/loot to happen

lolz dont worry i'm not in a rush to get an apoc chant source in near future my cm wiz is already pass the 2.73 bp so she can survive mp10 with current gear albiet against certain elites it will take zzzz time to kill .. 2 $$$ gears can make her kill faster and both are damn xpensive > chant source with apoc then i can lose my rare helm n use mempo with crit ... when i get rich @ super lucky drops then i might try to take her to 3bp & 200k dps lolz
with my current build the skill on chant source wont make much difference but i favor meteor... using meteor make me kill faster but it "interrupts" my freeze lock due to the delay in casting meteor .. plus i dont think i am able to play without teleport on my wiz for those "oh-shit-moments".

my wiz current stats running thru cm wiz calc:
139k paper dps, 2.74 aspd, 650AR, 4.3k armor, 50k health
800k average/edps, 78% chance to freeze lock on single target

not forgetting cramped fingers . hahaha

Get 30 APoC and u'll go mad with meteor. Downside is, meteor takes up a WW cast so it interrupts with your freezing to a certain extent.

true bro .. meteor just melts everything especially if u hv high aps n apoc to fuel spamming non-stop meteor.
for solo play i sometimes take out EB and spam meteor instead to deal dmg but for coop play (w/out another cm wiz in party) i prefer to freezelock the mobs n let other party members dps effectively.

Btw, instead of storm armor, have you tried substitute it with bubble armor (20% extra damage) and pair this with Meteor?

If you ask me, based on my fingers aloha calculation, i think its going to be quite damaging (given if its 30 ApoC).
