EOS!!!! also slack thing is lumia 1020 got no SD card slot. i may buy it tho, but i never use win8 before...dunno if its even got a good free gps. |

Damn lazy?
I don't know really, but to say I'm not amazed would be lies. Going from N8 to 808, the camera hump grows, but for this so called EOS, I really interested if it packs the same sensor. Seriously, I am wondering how on earth Nokia spent few years with it and still end up making it even thicker and a year after 808, they got it down so flat? It's like Elops become dying Steve.... |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jul 2 2013, 12:53 AM) Damn lazy? still is, EOS will be slimmer than 808. at least that's what the leak said I don't know really, but to say I'm not amazed would be lies. It's like Elops become dying Steve.... anyway, im not saying that its ugly. its just, lazy lah. they can do better than this. 720 is the best design made by Nokia so far 925 is not bad, I never thought of them making half aluminium, half polycarbonate body 920 design's is just balanced, not among the best but it sure is sturdy! and the list goes on.. but at the end, i want to see the 41.5mp performance. I am highly disapointed with 808's low light shots/videos. killer image quality but bad handling in shutter speed and ISO settings. N8 can do better than this |

It's like Elops become dying Steve.... the released EOS thickness spec of 9.77mm also is just the body only without camera hump. that is 3mm thinner than 808 body, which is a combination of getting rid of the curve on the 808 front + back, and newer hardware that is smaller. also the 808 camera hump adds on about 3mm extra thickness. looking at the leaked pre-production EOS pics, the hump looks like it may also add about the same extra thickness. so yea, just wait for july 11th |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jul 2 2013, 10:34 AM) EOS is rumored to pack the same 1/1.2" sensor like the 808. Well, depends on how you view it. the released EOS thickness spec of 9.77mm also is just the body only without camera hump. that is 3mm thinner than 808 body, which is a combination of getting rid of the curve on the 808 front + back, and newer hardware that is smaller. also the 808 camera hump adds on about 3mm extra thickness. looking at the leaked pre-production EOS pics, the hump looks like it may also add about the same extra thickness. so yea, just wait for july 11th The hum on 808 is definitely more than 5mm had Nokia not created artificial illusion with a curvy back cover. Now they are able to fit more things inside with a flat back and only added a 3mm (guessing) hum. |
