If you have a license win7 (or vista, xp, ...), you can upgrade to win8 from microsoft website. The cost of upgrade depends on when you bought the earlier version of win. If you bought it between 2Jun12 to 31Jan13, the cost of upgrade is USD15. If you bought it earlier than the date range, I think is USD50.
The good thing about the upgrade is that you get Win8Pro. So if you have a machine with Win7HBasic, you can spend RM50 and get Pro smile.gif

The bad:
As far as I know, you need a base OS. That is, suppose you want to do a clean install next time (don't see why since Win8 has reset / restore feature, but just for the sake of example), you need to install your win7 first, then clean install the win8.
So far I have not tried getting a plain win8pro iso and see if the key from upgraded win8pro could activate it  laugh.gif
Have anyone tried?

Thanks bro. I'll might as well wait for Devour. laugh.gif

If you are really serious about color reproduction, top up and get a MacBook Pro 13 nod.gif
Otherwise:

15.6"
Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional, W7HP/W8
Lenovo Ideapad Y580, i7-3630QM + Nvidia GTX660M + 1920x1080 @RM2999[JBL], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W7HBasic, backlit keyboard, 2 yrs warranty

But you'll need to recalibrate the color accuracy iinm

Yeah, the Mac Retina display is the best out there right now. If you really need to use Win software, there are ways to run Win7/8 in Mac OSX laugh.gif

There are some good screens in ultrabook, e.g. Asus Zen, HP Spectre. But they normally come in the 13" size.
If you are professional, and can up the budget, check out Lenovo Thinkpad W530. One of the spec has a good screen.
Also check out the Sager / Illegear site. It's gamer oriented. But for most of their offering, you can customise and opt for a high gamut screen. So maybe you can opt for the cheapest model, and customise for the best screen tongue.gif

Hi, need your expertise in choosing a product :-

1. Preferred Brand = Any Brand at least (i5/4GB RAM)
2. Budget = Between RM1.8k to RM2.1K
3. Usage = Editing, web browsing, Graphic, office application
4. Preferred laptop/screen size = 14.0"-15.x"

At this moment, considering Lenovo G480 (i5) or Acer v3-471G-53212G75. Tks

The link you have point to 2 different screen size: 14" vs 15". Same screen resolution (only HD) though.
GT640M and HD7730M is about on par (depends on which benchmark / games you look at, but very close generally). I will give the edge to GT640M due to Nvidia current better driver support. AMD is picking up the slack, but according to most IT sites, Nvidia still have more hands on deck in driver development.

Do note that Inspiron 15R SE has a spec that come with FHD screen at ~ RM3k.
