I have 1 question, what is the difference between the 2:

1) Boot into recovery mode (power + home + volume up) then restore
2) Click the CWM recovery app and restore from there

Are there the same?

It's scratch resistant..not scratch proof. You can scratch the screen with a tiny bit of grain in your pocket laugh.gif
Btw..some link for RM1650 original SME set

This is not meant to dispute but the post you so kindly pulled out to help might not be selling SME units. Remember, AP sets are also original. They are just not clones or fakes. There is where a lot of people misinterpret.

The lowest price for PB is RM1688 (I am talking about SME brand new). Other colours, MW, GR and TG somehow fetch higher prices.

not the same.

boot in recovery mode is to flash via odin, usually using .tar or .md5 files, which is from the computer, or using mobile odin(paid app, use on the device itself )

CWM recovery is to flash on the phone, no need to computer, using .zip files place to your external sd card.

most roms you need to install via CWM recovery, where as the stock rom you need to install using odin

I still dont quite get it, sorry. Ok, I was planning to flash Wanamlite JB from my current Wanamlite ICS. First I would need to perform backup first. I see some forumers mentioned that we backup by booting into CWM recovery. But when I click the CWM app icon in my phone, there is also a Backup option. So there are not the same?

Basically they are pretty alike but we usually boot into cwm instead of using the cwm app.

Careful with siyah. If you UV too much, might be bad for ya.

Back to Perseus for a more fun siyah. My phone hates siyah don't know why. Always lag on siyah even without UV

I used to have lagging problems with 1.6.3 and above... quite bad... not just any minor lag... which made me revert to stock kernel for quite a while actually. However, ever since 1.6.5, the kernel has been... what can I say, brilliant.

I undervolt at the most at -50Mhz for CPU. OC-ed GPU just 1-2 steps. It's the touchscreen boost and the charging mVs that I really prize. Maxed out on those. The audio, well, too minor differences to be noticed. Since the default media player already does have decent equalizer presets, eargasm really does minor improvements only.

try to call your telco .last time i work with a telco. MCMC was pushing for phone baring feature in case your phone got stolen your telco can block it within Malaysia but not sure if its implemented now. if u dont know your IMEI, no prob they can detect your most recent phone model with its IMEI

I'm loving the Otterbox Defender case... no such 'loose' fitting whatsoever on the rubber... I was worried it'll be like 'silicone-ny' and soft but hell no... this rubber is some tough $|-|i+

And the holster just makes it look sexy
