mine consistently 20-40kbps..wat downloader u use?

i use utorrent.
any other client or tweak to suggest ?

i also using utorrent..just dont understand why my torrent download so slow..speedtest consistently above 3mb..but torrent

Torrent download is depends on seeds and tracker which will cause your download speed directly. more active seeds = fast download speed

eztv torrents which usually can go at least 300KB/s now drop to avg less than 5KB/s... I dont oppose throtling but at such level this is too much

my area no streamyx for 2 days already.

Dah report 100? Usually they'll contact you back in 24hours time, if in 24hours they havent contact you yet, contact them back, make sure keep your report number for them to refer.

anyone here using the tmnet suplied modem? I got the Dlink DSL-2730E but I felt the line was unstable when I used the modem. Anyone know where to get the latest firmware? I only found the firmware for DSL-2730U on Dlink homepage. Any idea if that one can be used?

The thing with 4mbps and above streamyx is that to ensure you got high speed, they™ set your exchange to empty exchange(where the number of user is very very small). while you get better speed, your ping suffers(distance and hops). you can request to change to nearer exchange, but you speed will suffers. nevertheless, this doesnt mean that streamyx 2 and 1 mbps get better ping. sometimes, lower speed streamyx got lower ping due to "buat routing cerca merba". to better know your ping performance for gaming, try trace route game server. more hops means higher ping(bad). just for your information, kim dotcom of megaupload fame, subscribe 100mbps dedicated line to nation gateway just so that he can play cod better. dedicated line to gateway means that you get unshared bandwidth to gateway with 1 or 2 hops. tm also offers this kind of server, known as TM Direct. the price for 2mbps is very very expensive. cant remember exactly how much, but around 5 digits RM.

streamyx did throttle torrent. they pay huge sums of money for throttling system. not sure about unifi. the only way to get better torrent speed is by vpn or using bitcomet.

i did some test on different torrent utility. so far, bitcomet is best for streamyx. still not perfect though. but better than utorrent.

and make sure dont use tm crappy modem for torrent. you will get dc only.

Weird... some ppl say utorrent better some say bitcomet better...

my torrent has been throttle for 3 weeks now. usually i can reach 400++kb. now only 30-50. bad, very bad streamyx!

raining time...will dc
mid nite start from 1am till 8am...dc...cannot connect to internet
i try change modem, change my house phone cable
tmnet tech come to change the copper cable too
but still same problem...
i have call many times...cannot be solve
i'm wondering what is the problem...
even on day time...if is raining..confirm dc till cannot connect back..
i only can use my stimix on hot weather time..
raining or midnite when temp is cooler..confirm dc

this few days..evening keep raining..when back to work...i cant online if raining....then midnite..around 1am...mostly will dc...if is connected...it will be very slow before dc...even speedtest also not moving
having this problem for months d...
