Get 124.13 IP for the first time

Awfully slow doh.gif

Back to my 60.XX range, superb, although I still have my SG VPN to cover me in case of throttle

Try another browser already?

EDIT:
Guys, do you know what modem router is good for p2p?
My TM D-Link is so bad.
Always disconnect, reboot when I'm start uTorrent.
DDL works fine though.  doh.gif

For brief period today I was able to connect to 1.9.206.XX. Never seen this IP before, I think was able to connect to vpn services with it then it stop responding decided to reconnect my modem to get different ip. It seems to be TM's IP. Anyone else seen it b4?
*
Unless TM assign you with a private IP else you should be able to connect to VPN service without problem.

Check your modem page to determine are you using private IP.

I believe it is related with the source peering(CDN) to Malaysia, I can't get to the full speed of my 8Mbit either with my Singapore VPN or none

Hovering around 5XX

500KB/s
Or 500kbps?
Cause 500KB/s is better already. Enough to stream 1080p HD without jittering.
I have few tm user friends.. They... No, some were able to get full speed.
And Its kindda weird when the connection slow on time. 50kb/s max only.
With VPNgate, I was able to get full speed. But it is not good. Since VPN suck all my upload speed. My family can't use the net even for web browsing only.

500KBPS++

Should be at least 1MBPS, I am using Streamyx 8Mb wink.gif

I am able to reach 8500kbps ++ smile.gif

8192kbps / 8Mbps = 1024kBps / 1MBps

Nope seem Hypptv don't use the same bandwidth as Streamyx iinm.
*
On Streamyx, HyppTV share the bandwidth of the internet connection

IT will use around 2Mbit on a SD channel 3Mbit on a HD channel smile.gif

will it goes buffering if someone else use internet? at high possible speed

it pulls iptv bandwidth or not  tongue.gif
*
It won't go buffering, at least I never experience buffering tongue.gif

On worst case, it will drop to the lowest possible resolution.

Just a question. To upgrade Streamyx from 1Mbps to 4Mbps, does TM technician/contractor need to go on-site for installation or they will just update user account profile from their side?
*
Depends, sometime they might need to do some testing sometime they just enable on their site

If they require to go to your house they will give you a call first usually

We can't actually tell is your line capable of doing 4Mbit. Many things could be wrong.

It's best to ask TM yourself, a simple call to 100 can get it checked

Anyone using TM free wifi modem?

I am curious why my ping to the localhost (192.168.1.1) sometimes is higher than 100ms for around 10 to 15 minutes, any idea?
*
If you are using WiFi, check your WiFi adapter or try with other device

The router could be faulty

Mine is 4096 from the start.

I think it's normal since 1024 kilobit * 4 = 4096 kilobit which is 4 megabit.  rclxub.gif
*
Overhead exist, if they cap your port speed at 4096 you will never get 4Mbit on speedtest.
If your port speed is 4096 your true speed will be around 3.5Mbit.

I am a 8Mbit user, my port speed is capped at 10240 to compensate the ADSL overhead.

Next time if ever a technician visit you, try to request for a higher cap, I am capped at 5120 last time.
