my little mini that flies in the video couple of pages back cost about rm500
double the size does not mean double the money ..

if u want to taje those cinematic style videography ... stable smooth etc
then u will need ..
1. gimbal
2. copter with gps capabilites

the cheapest option so far is the APM la
it is oso the most flexible controller ... u can even use it for RC cars !!!
the downside is ... lots of reading and understanding .. and some basic experience

lets list basic build options ...
APM .. apprx rm400
quad frame .. apprx rm200 not too expensive ones
motors ... rm200+
ESCs ... rm200
props etc ... rm100
gimbal .. rm300-400 (cheap ones)

this alone exceeds your rm1k budget already
not to mention u will need someone with APM experience to help u set the thing up (labour costs involved) << i know someone doing this
even if just for the copter build alone without gimbal oso exceeds rm1k
the main costs being the APM .. unless u dont need GPS features la

no GPS features means no position hold .. no altitude hold ... no return to home features ... auto this that etc etc ...
u will have to fully fly that thing manually

and FPV equipment costs and radio equipment and batteries not factored in yet oso ..

sound like it gonna cost alot
i still not very sure how to choose a correct motor, now i onli know lower KV can carry more load, higher KV more speed
if APM cost about 400, i think i will go for naza m lite

start with what ever that suites your budget 1st, you'll most like end up going the other path too.....it's just too compelling.

the kit u linked is good ... but
This one would be better coz u can mount camera and other things easier

edit ... the KK2.1 is good enuf and easy to program and tune
all my copters flies on NAZE32 though ..

IMO .. rcx motors generally have better QC and quality as mentioned earlier
i oso mentioned i use naze32 on all my copters
radiolink AT9 is an unknown brand/make/quality .. u are better off just buying 9X from hobbyking or local hobby shop ... they are about the same price as the AT9 which u prolly got off MRC classifieds .. LOL

no idea .. i oso waiting for some stuff coming in from overseas ordered after 1st april
