if u can afford the time sure do it everytime.
but I do it weekly.
if U hated the taste of old coffee just grind 1-2 secs and dump always the grounds.
don't want to waste here are ways to reuse the ground

I see. the ground is refer to used coffee puck or just unused coffee ground? quite confused rclxub.gif

I'll always finish my ground coffee, good or bad. Those older (aged) ones probably will make it more GAO and ice it. Kopi peng very nice  thumbup.gif
Used groud coffee will fill them in a bottle, then put in toilet with the cap open. Very nice when you shower with coffee smell  rclxms.gif Also it helps remove odor.

wah not bad can smell kopi when bathing hahaa rclxms.gif

The ground refered to used coffee puck cause no stingy ppl would use unused coffee. If u are throwing away unused coffee you can certainly use it that way.

haha i get it. but i always get watery puck when using pressurized basket. still usable meh? shakehead.gif

Aeropress is a very good brewing method. You basically control everything.. brewing temperature, pressure, extraction time... etc. So taste wise, many possibilities biggrin.gif
That also means, a lot of trial and errors.. bwahahaha.. but once you get the gist of it.. you can at least calculate more precisely to get a closer proper brew. Remember to prepare a calculator and scale to go along tongue.gif

Here are some tips:

Wow need to take care of so much variable and calculation haha, btw what grind suits aeropress? I saw some of em say that is espresso grind and some says that is slightly coarser than espresso grind rclxub.gif

i ever doubt that ec155 steam wand is kinda hard to break the milk texture.

Anyone here have delongi ec155 with modded steam wand?

or is it hard to look for sparepart in malaysia?
*

The harder way would be to remove the panarello and just froth it naked (the wand, not you). I do this all the time but you'll need enough milk in the pitcher as the wand can be very short without the panarello.

There's a guy from Hong Kong, I think someone shared here before, uses EC155 as well. Try to look it up in youtube.

saw a ebay seller selling this silvia steam wand. i've msged the seller whether it fits for ec155 for not.
*
