I don't dream so far la... Just a single group Slayer is good enough ha-ha. But lucky to even get to play with one. They let you pull shots on it?

Flipping pedal left and right...nothing to write home about biggrin.gif

Took off top cover to see boilers too.

The Ethiopian sure tasted nice with pre-infusion...21g into 2oz. smile.gif

any good recommendation for great black coffee? biggrin.gif

Elaborate your question? Are you asking about where or which cafe to go to for a good black?
Or as you asking about how to brew a good cup yourself?

More like a good black coffee that I make myself at home. Not brew it myself, since I don't really have the equipment. Maybe something like Nescafe, where I can make it myself. By black I mean without sugar of course smile.gif

I don't really know what is the right term for this though. Sorry for that smile.gif

I used to enjoy those 2-1 (but looks like you looking for 1-1 haha) but since I started roasting and brewing my own with Aeropress I couldn't really go back anymore
Some of the more premium freeze dried types of coffee is actually not too bad - something like Robert Timms?

Hi i would like to ask something about coffee.

I would consider myself a coffee lover and drinks about 2-3 cups per day. But i am still new and am finding ways to enjoy better coffee other than those in cafe.

If i were not to purchase a coffee grounder, is there any ways to enjoy better coffee other than the 3-in-1? Eg. would french press or aeropress work without a grounder?

Good coffee starts off first with fresh whole beans (finish beans no later than 15 days past roast date). You have to grind your beans before you start making your drinks.

A grinder doesn't cost a lot of money if you going for aeropress or French press. Hand grinder is some work but that the journey to yummy drinks

Something basic like this will do
http://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.htm...1898.0.0.2dk88I
https://www.espressoparts.com/hario-ceramic...ee-mill-skerton

You don't need these

Electric this will do

Can't do apple to apple compare to coffee beans smile.gif
You probably don't need 7-10g for each cup (1 tablesppon) so might still be affordable per cup

I am not comparing to bean just to brands like indocafe
When they like rm7 for 50g or less I think

Then for rm26 for 200g not premium.

Daviddoff is rm35 for 100g by exchange rate

Well because i am still studying and and staying in hostel, i would like to reduce the amount of stuffs to buy. A coffee grinder will be quite inconvenient because of certain reasons.

Will there be anyway to enjoy better coffee without purchasing a grinder?

Is there any stores that sell pre-grinded coffee?

I recommend cold brew.

Buy your beans fresh. Get the shop to grind. Prepare the whole batch. Split into bottles, and consume as needed.

Low cost...great taste...fast and convenient...for nice cold coffee...

Picked up some espresso blend at Antipodean Menara Tan & Tan, thanks for the tip from a few days ago. Roasted Dec 8th at RM26.50 per 250g. Even parking is free if you don't hit the 15 minute mark.

Cheap, just that you about a week to finish of the beans.
Nothing fresher?
