not necessary but is good to occasionally have some wave to circulate the water and blow surface, avoid dead zone.
only worry is if you have anemone, they will get suck up.
i use a misaki to auto control my wave maker when on

my anemone's settled down now, n the maroon n african like pair lol.

anyways i was thinking of getting a 24" length x 18" height x 12" width tank.
I saw bigger tank also around RM50 only with 0.8mm thick glass.
So tempted to get 30 gallon tank but 2 feet tank comes with wooden cabinet + cover RM280.

Can I use my current equipment like the RS-4000 filter, protein skimmer n lights?

I think lights need to upgrade and need to buy powerhead.

i just read on the net bout acclimatized freshwater molly to put in marine tank.. i did that slowly 2 days ago.. and it works.. i have a black molly fish in my marine tank.. so far its swimming happily... and eating any hair algae i have on my liverocks...

from what i've read.. molly and guppy can be acclimatized to saltwater but guppy is abit slower to do... i acclimatized my molly in 3 hours.. slowly adding salt to the water..until the salinity is 1.021

most brackish water fish can be acclimatize to full salt water, take cardinal fish for instead, when is juvenile it will most stay at the river mouth.

I think I wanna get 2.5 ft tank. Almost 30 gallons can put blue tang and most ppl recommend anemone in 30 gallon but i've seen many ppl keep anemone in much much smaller tanks happily.

2.5 feet tank RM50, Stand RM70, Sump 80, Protein Skimmer 180, Pump 50.

Ok price?
