Can V assume there is no high flow air filter (esp. the bolt-on type) installed on to the car?

So now V can suppose tht isn't the whistling noise from the air filter huh?

I haven't heard of the whistling noise U were telling, so dare not give U any comment.

But I'm kindda curious y does exhaust emmiting whistling noise, it makes me think of the whistling noise from the exhaust turbine tongue.gif

haha. how i wished! tongue.gif

engine is still stock.

don't think the sound is from the air filter.

this morning, i have a different theory. might be because of vibration during fast exhaust flow due to sudden acceleration rate? is this common? any remedies?

Hi, firstly, i want to say that this is a very good thread. It's very informative.

I'm using Saga LMST 2007. I didn't know much about cars but was intrigued to change my muffler to get that roaring sound. So I went and bought a "TRUST" muffler that cost me RM260. but after installing it and driving around in my car, i found out that it's actually too loud for comfort.

What should I do? How do I reduce the noise? should I just install the soundproof things that the shops are selling or get the bullet silencer that was mentioned?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, i had change the POWERZONE TUNED LENGTH 4-2-1 EXTRACTOR (RM450) and POWERZONE 1.75” EXHAUST PIPING WITH BULLET SILENCER (RM280).

Next will be the rear muffler to complete my full exhaust setup for my wira 4g15p.

Should i stick on POWERZONE rear s-flow muffler that imitate from wira 1.8 which will cost me RM350 or other reputation brand like TANABE?

1. U already bought fake trust muffler. It's cap ayam muffler. An original trust muffler cost u more than rm1k
2. Go to the shop and ask him to change to s-flow muffler (assume that u still have original center bullet).

Hi Sir,
Currently driving myself a Daihatsu Charade Aura G100, with stock engine. (3 cylinder, 993 CC). Any recommendation on the modification of the exhaust that i can go on with to juice up some power from the engine. Current exhaust system also produces "small explosion" sound when revved up to high RPM... icon_question.gif

hello there, im driving a satria neo basic. I want to ask, which exhaust should i go for? R3, powerzone or hotbits? I did some research on the net and apparently, hotbits has a tendency to crack (but that was said by someone, years ago so i am not sure if there has already been extensive improvements).

small explosion sound could be due to carburetor tuning and worn sparkplugs...

swirl offer more back pressure compare to normal bullet...

4-1-1 is what??.. extractor??... 4-1 extractor not suitable for auto transmission car...
