hey you guys smile.gif
been reading alot about how to increase low end torque for my 2008 iafm gen2 1.6//

i recently brought my car to speedwork in pj. had the whole setup change to hotbits - full exhaust system change there. change the air intake as well for the open pot k&n. well definately lot of changes in the high end power but i loose alot on the lower end. i lost my low end power.

so any sifu can tell me what should i do to gain back my low end power or gain more lower end power?

as you know the whole hotbots setup exhaust has no back end box, its a straight end flow from the center. should i install s-flow muffler?

or what should i do?

small explosion sound could be due to carburetor tuning and worn sparkplugs...
swirl offer more back pressure compare to normal bullet...

4-1-1 is what??.. extractor??... 4-1 extractor not suitable for auto transmission car...

In the first place, just use a lightened crank pulley will do....... Sure to improve low end performance......

'ROJAK' exhaust system is more powerful provided that with a good exhaust setup.

no need to install muffler bcoz hotbits exhaust system places muffler in the middle.
u want more low-end torque, u shud try 'ROJAK' exhaust system.
rm1xxx exhaust system cannot guarantee satisfaction.

guys, any muffler to recommend? currently i am driving a proton iswara 12v using a straight flow muffler that i just installed 2 weeks ago. Previously i was using a s-flow but all the fiber is gone, so i changed to straight flow for much more power.. but i realize that my iswara have poor sound insulation..

Any other muffler to recommend me which is quieter and much more power as the stock muffler. It would be best if the muffler is as quiet as the stock muffler..

try look for hks silent hi-power, or even the non-silent version should do just fine.

that if you get the original version of course.

p/s: can't believe this topic is still around...heheh.

anyone heard about "next design" mufflers?
I was told that they are japan aftermarkets and produce great quality/performance.

Can the sifu's confirm this?
is the price rm400 for a second hand worth it?

exhaust piping setup is very dependent on engine setup... exhaust piping is not universal....
hence, pls list down ur engine spec...

rm200 for the whole thing is cheap... beware of bad quality and bad workmanship...

Recently WORKS engineering has the CF air intake which is more like open pod enclosed in a CF. I wonder how is it like?
Hope experienced guys can enlighten..

Should one go for just K&N drop in or the WORKS CF which uses simota?
