On the one hand, every time I see RM drop to historical low, I am relief I made the decision to shift some liquid investment to overseas. On the other hand, I still have the major portion in Malaysia sweat.gif

well, as long as u are "hedged" to an extent, it's alright.

if not, yr purchasing power gets eroded very quickly.
it sucks to see lifetime savings shrinking by the hour.
more so when u still have kids abroad to take care of.
and say bye-bye to visiting usa for the next decade! laugh.gif

Want to ask, compare from RHB OSK (malaysia) and iOCBC, which one is cheaper/better? I see from the website the OCBC got charge custodian fee per counter every month? I already have a bank account in singapore.

can.

but kindly take note that it is rather expensive to buy S-reits using local brokerage.

preferable if you have a SG brokerage account.

Agree. I opened account with DBS in Singapore then transfer my SGD over. You can then transfer from DBS to Vickers or Phillip Securities.
