I just focussed on AUDJPY, bro,... yeah, you are right, CAD is also a 'commodity-currency', could have gone it too. But I don't like too many pairs,.. cos I took leverage and well,.. I bet bigger this time,....  nod.gif

If you like playing commodity with inflations hedging the best trifecta would be AUD for hard commodity, CAD for liquid commodity and NZD for soft commodity against RMB but most would play safe with JPY especially those pros

Investors don't seem to like KDCR taking over the telco infras,... look at the share price,...

Yes,... I'm a happy man with ESRR's move,... there will be more corporate activities coming along. This is a gem,... and there are still gems in the SGX, don't think Options is the only way today.

How are you, bro Prophet,... thumbup.gif

ESRR's closing price yesterday was $0.465. Now, ESRR is valuing its replacement units at $0.51, and with this, 'no need' to give each ALLT unitholders too many units,.... The way I view it,... ESRR values each ALLT unit as approx 95c, from a total of :-

1) 1.6765 units x 51c = 85.5c.
2) additional 9.5c to be given out in cash.

Any opinions, bros ?

So I can see ESR values the replacement units around 10% above their market price, ALLT valued at 95.3 cents while market value is 93.5 cents, 2% above market price.

I don't know what ALLT shareholders think about the 2% above market price offer though. It certainly is already trading around 20% above book value, but the extra 2% looks very small to me. That said, I don't know much about takeover and M&A stuff.

What are the chances of this getting approval from A-Log shareholders ? It's not a "good deal" for them.

I don't know as I am not A-log investor. tongue.gif

Have a look at here on Hardwarezone: https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/...3574772/page-87

Looking at the sharp drop of close to 4% today for A-log and the sharp rise for ESR, indeed the deal favours ESR side.

It's a shame they didn't learn from Sabana's incident last year. Aims Apac is the next in line to see the same story.

This time, it's different, bros,... ESR Cayman is tightening its grip at sponsor level. Ara has increased its stake in Logos by up to 86% very recently. This action is done prior to ESR and Cayman merging.

So,... ESR is 'now holding a big portion of Logos',.....

I recall from last year ESR already has substantial stake in Ara Logos REIT during the Sabana incident.

That means the pricing power falls onto ESR side. So Ara Logos REIT investors are not in a favourable position. Don't know whether Black Crane and Quartz are substantial holders of Ara Logos or not tongue.gif

Will see who make noises this time.

FRankly,... I've held acquirer companies. The advantage always falls on the side of the acquirer company shareholders than the acquired company shareholders.

The only thing the acquired company shareholders can do is to quickly selloff their shares BEFORE their fellow shareholders do so.

The above behaviour is more pertinent and applicable with a this merger which involves ESR-REIT,... bangwall.gif

Edited by adding the below. Caught this info from the HWZ forum. I was wondering earlier too abt the gearing post-merger,....

Post-Merger, the pro forma gearing of ESR-LOGOS REIT will be 42.1%

SOURCE: https://links.sgx.com/FileOpen/ESR-...ust - FAQ.ashx?App=Announcement&FileID=686932

42%,...?? Another few more percentages and the dpu stops paying-out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUst like Ara Hospitality Trust,....another REIT in the Ara camp ! bangwall.gif

Not ranting,... no sound in my clip, and not even a video clip at all.

I only rant inside the courtrooms,...

But this merger scheme of arrangement is really one-sided.
