Your place is only suitable to go with the M20W, M50W, D1010-IV, X3. The rest are all too big and overwhelming for your environment.

M10 not suitable as there is no place to put the sub. The M10 sub should be on the desk

Only M10 and A532 sub need to be on the desktop. M50W sub should be on the floor. If you put it on the desk it will be overwhelming.

You need a 5ft desk with 3ft+ depth to get the M200 to sing properly.

Means the table can't be against the wall for the m200? Width is not a problem after some rearrangement

Most people will tell you that not having any space behind a speaker is bad. M200 has rear port, it needs to be away from the rear, 1 ft at least. Sealed speaker like M50W, M60-5.1 can be leaned on the wall

Oh OK I can put it 1 ft or 2 ft but my table not 3ft width haha but in your opinion would 1.5-2ft be enough

About 1 ft is all you need. But if you had the M200Mk3, you need more than 1 ft spacing for nearfield use. That's why we don't recommend getting the mk3 for desktop. Stick to the cheaper mk2. Bass aside, the tonal balance is very similar.

Or, just squeeze out more budget and get the X3 brows.gif

You can add h series sub or any other active sub in the future. It is enough for your environment. May even be too much. Just Don't expect hard hitting 30hz unless u get the x6. Bigger than your monitor..sweat.gif

Get a sub and u should do fine. though with an additional part lying around. smile.gif but I did come across Cyntrix mentioning abt pairing of non H series speakers with H series subs will incur some loss of SQ.

If you want to add a H sub without pairing it with a H series speaker, you should split the source out from line level. One thing you give up by doing this is that you dont have master volume control for the sub and the main speakers so you will always have non-standard sub volume with your mains.

If I wanted all round than the m50w would be better? Can I know how big the difference in quality between the m50w and the m200

I'm not planning to make my entire room shake with the bass just enough to enjoy a movie.

Is the M60 5.1 comparable to Edifier's S550?

Hi,

Which DAC you sell? If no, which brand you use in your demo room?

M50W would sound much warmer than the M200. But it'd also have deeper and punchier bass

Provided that the output is pre-amp and not a digital attenuation
