Indeed the users are on the losing side!

Been holding grudge on Google lately as they are moving away from their "Don't Be Evil" bullsh*t philosophy.. This is what they have done lately:

1. No longer accept free Google Apps registration
2. Reports of Google blocking Windows Phone users from accessing Google Maps
3. Discontinuing Google Sync service

Anyone knows what does that symbol means? Saw a symbol - a circle with a dot in the middle on top of the home screen, together with the wifi and battery icons when u tap on the top section of the screen.

Oh, ok... yea, that makes sense since i allow apps to access my location....

Google are hypocrites. Don't be Evil my as*. They are scared because IOS does not threatened them, it only runs on one company product but WP runs on multi company products just like them. So WP can really give them a run for their money. Now I hope apple wins all their patent wars against google.

I dont see WP beating out Android anytime soon, but it could be a solid 3rd competitor eating into both market shares of iOS and Android. WP will be serious stuff when it reaches the stage of WP9 next year. It's Microsoft who is behind WP, and, as a software giant im sure they know what they are doing.

Im not that worried about Nokia, but i only hope Blackberry 10 lives up to expectations, they are in deeper sh!t than Nokia. The more variety the better.

Check for the news. LYN owned posted the news that MS decide to change SkyDrive back from 25GB to 7GB, and giving a limited period (around a week or 2, I forgotten) for certain users (who used it b4 that time) to upgrade to 25GB for free.

As WP7 user, I naturally had used it and eligible for the 25GB upgrade.

I wonder why Nokia didn't publicize it if they are going to launch it >< It might be true but I'm not sure since a forumer mentioned that he heard it from radio...

Really gets into my nerve when Apple requested Microsoft to share 30% profit from Skydrive subscription or else Apple will not approve the latest version of Skydrive app in AppStore!

Nah, no one complained the N8 and E7 bend, wont happen. You do realise Nokia's build quality. Im just afraid windows phone's slow update in terms of hardware support might affect Nokia's sales. Microsoft better add 1080p support this year for WP8.5. In android world they are showing off 5 inch 1080p screens already. To me it's stupid to ask for 1080p for a phone when most laptops and tablets dont have that resolution yet, and even 30-50' HDTVs mostly have 1080p, but nowadays many people are specwhores. I have people asking me why Lumia dual core only.

Not to forget MS was like that too, during the time when they dominated the PC OS market.

Few years ago Nokia was on top of the mobile industry.
Nokia owned 40% of the mobile OS market with symbian.
40%! What a scary number. Meaning every 10 phones sold in the market, Nokia made 4.
That time samsung was number 2, then samsung announced that they target themselve to become the biggest mobile phone manufacturer in 2 years.
Since that time samsung is not that famous in Malaysia, I laughed out hard, how possible that samsung can climb up and defeat Nokia?

So I was wrong. Look at Samsung today. They are everywhere.
These f**kers copied everything that they could, and they make a more powerful and cheaper one, because of their advanced technology in semi-conductor. And they go into every sector, look at wikipedia then you will know, they even make excavators.
Look at their galaxy series, don't tell me they didn't copy the design from iPhones. That's why I still hate samsung.
But nevertheless, it is still the most powerful mobile phone manufacturer today.

Even though Nokia has felt hard, I don't see that it copied any design from others.
Their touchscreen phone, from 5800 to N8 to 808 to today fashion 920, they have their own design language.
But Nokia hard to compete with samsung and apple in term of earning la, because unlike samsung and apple, they cannot build everything by their own, need to assign for other company to build for them, therefore the cost sure will shoot up high.
Samsung has its own factories, and Apple has so many cash that they can just buy the factory.

They aren't that smart then. Dual core doesn't mean it can't beat quad core.
Just look at iPhone 5 it is juss dual core and it beats S3 quad core in pretty much every benchmark.

I don't like high spec, I just love optimizations that iOS developed (alongside with WP, dual-core but wow!!)
and Nokia's design is purely from theirs.. they never copy from another company,
But their marketing is very2 slow lahh, owh well, pros and cons is always around us
