anyone tried to flash portico manually?

Eh for some reason these few days my whatsapp is not pushing new notification on the tiles. I need to manually open whatsapp to let it collect all the new msges. Same goes to FB chat no live notification..

This is not 100% true.
It depends on the country you live.
If it's in the US Google Map wins, but if you are in other countries, Nokia Map could win as they have more data than Google in certain location.
Both are good here in Malaysia and I've been using it for a while(Nokia Map), and I can find more Restaurant using Nokia Maps rather than Google Map.

If you want to use Google Map there is always a free app that is called gmaps which still works on WP.

Nokia maps, Nokia drive apps are not updated as frequent in malaysia because they do not have local mappers like malsing they update weekly for garmin and papago.

Like my nokia 808 pureview the last update for the map is a year ago and lumia updates about 6 to 8months the maps get up to date.

So conclusion the maps are very old compare to google. The only bonus for nokia drive is it comes free with the phone but if you are serious in navigation i do not recommend nokia. Papago maps are weekly updated even have AES now. Nokia maps apa pun tak ada this apply to malaysia only

windows phone no papago. Of course i have papago on my other phone that you dont need teach me la dude.
No offense sifu i am telling not for you to show off i am telling so people know about this issue if they are serious in navigation compare to you might keep saying its the best but do not know this.

I saw few of your comments regarding this phone. But u didnt suggest a way to solve it, because most people here do already have a lumia 920, it would be interesting to hear suggestion of alternatives from what you are not satisfied with.
I myself do like nokia maps, i saw garmin street pilot in windows phone store, not sure it will work in malaysia, i dare not try it. =P.
Using another phone to listen to music or buying a dedicated gps is not a bright option for everybody. But i have to say, nokia phones lock the gps very fast, and i dont even have to turn on my data temporarily to lock satellites(A-GPS). Love it.

I dint own lumia 920 yet~
but with my C6 Nokia Map, i able to travel from Johor to Perak and Pahang (due to work)
very fine.
It actually quite good to use if u travel around althought it update half year or 1 year.

but, if travel at KL area with Nokia Map, it may face some problem.
since KL area route may "change" everyday ^^

I use google maps only if i cannot find the place in nokia maps. And when i do, i get the nearest road, and search in nokia drive. Haha.

I purchased ProShot lense for the camera. So far very satisfied with the Shutter priority mode that can let me adjust the exposure time maximum up to 4sec! It is very useful if you got tripod

Btw... I notice that there's are some setting apps from my phone not updated. But the Store is not prompting me for the auto update. I have to manually access to the app detail thru the Store to update it manually...

how about HDR?
