it's not a service center. they are just resellers. get back ur phone and send it to the SC yourself. Samsung SCs wont take up to 3 days to repair the phone. normally they do it on the spot.

good they already say it straight, your phone can go download mode, if it can go download mode, they are LYING TO YOU BIG TIME about changing motherboard, if need to change motherboard, they cant go into download mode.

so its either can get into the mode directly or you have to buy USB jig (rm10 maybe)

stupid shop, better spread the word not go to this shop, SPREAD IT WIDE

just got my galaxy s3 two week ago n my 1st time android device..

the battery seems really fast drain,

just curious have app dat can make battery more longer stay.

how long it can last?
my note full charge can last about one day with normal usage

if u install many apps that require online checking status... like few email account, messenger..then yes it drain a lot.

battery life is good. Everyday I go home at around 7pm my battery life will be between 40-60%. wifi on during working hours + some data connection.

With emmc partition partially destroyed you can still boot to download mode. Odin can still be used to flash it but probably will get stuck at factoryfs stage. If this happen than must change motherboard

Hi, if it helps - I use my s3 moderately, calling, sms, email and occasional browsing and camera.
Usually I still have over 50% by evening, and it will last me till I plug in to recharge before going to bed.

It also helps a lot if you have a spare charger in the office or the car. A short top-up charge extends the usage life significantly!
