The main question, is the screen FHD?

How good is this 'Dual' graphic card ultrabay features ?
I might not be very expert in hardware, feel free to educate me a little about this laptop. May be getting y580 soon, but this one pops out and wonder if this can be better option instead of y580? |

dual gpu? surely is gonna be hot hot hot? probably most suited to be for SSD
 i think y500 is definitely FHD, not sure y400... probably gonna end up one of these when made available |

i like the Y500 too but sad part is, it is on the extreme heavy side. at 2.9kgs if i am not wrong, thats is pretty heavy.
other than that, the spec and design and color theme is just  such a beautiful machine... |
