i'm alwiz wondering is there any particular department for electronic people in oil n gas nature?

my longest stint is 33 days offshore,but I have seen people in my segment went offshore for almost 2 months straight.

2 months straight? Was he on the drilling rig? Last time I heard there was a DD was requested specifically by the company man to stay on the rig for almost 2 months, he ended up scolding everyone on the rig that he saw, too much mental stress.
