Naah. The operator is Lundin. Carigali only has a 25% stake which means they leave it to the JV unit to take care of the assets.

By the way, I did the study on this field before, it's not a new discovery, they must have drilled another well in the other dome. The well in the saddle was wet which reduces the estimated in-place before. I did mentioned in my report that there is opportunity on the still undrilled southern dome.

Ohh PM307 is in Trengganu by the way, it is NOT in Pahang.

O&G people are hot stuff heh heh heh ..... if you are a driller than most of the time it is okay for you to take short term (6 months) contract. The package can be up to 150K a month for those kind of contract, for a geologist, not so much .... I mean the demand is still there but not as high as drilling engineers. Drilling engineers, today resign on the spot, next week can get another job already.

Broken anchor wires for workbarge is quite common. Few months back, there is one barge (cannot mention the name) parted four of his anchor wires during bad weather.

what kind engineer in ong no need to go to offshore? just do work like meet client n contractor. go outstation. got ah?

unfortunate about going offshore hehehe dapat kat me that position i sure happy.want me to plan from offshore pun sanggup.

make sense.. you can plan better if you have seen the equipment/environment yourself..

I just joined a local mnc at one of its oil refinery plants. having a mechanical background, I get to choose either static or rotating equipments as my specific job scope.

which skill area would be more valuable in this industry? valuable as in more in demand and would be easier to sell myself in the future. for now I'm more inclined towards static piping but I haven't really decided yet.

Their 2012 bonus is 7.5 months... oh my...
